Sean Payton: If a team hires me, the Saints will ask for a mid-to-late first-round pick

Sean Payton says that if he takes a head-coaching job, the team that hires him will have to give the Saints a mid-to-late first-round draft pick.

Payton told Colin Cowherd he and Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis have come to an understanding that that’s what his new team will give the Saints, if Payton takes a head-coaching job.

Maybe Quinn knows something? Maybe he sees the writing on the wall and knows Denver is his best shot to get out of here and get another head coaching gig before this staff ultimately gets fired anyway?

Well Payton to Dallas is pretty much moot now, no way MM gets canned after winning a road playoff game ending a 30 yr drought.

MM is a lock to return in 2023 and if the Boys can some how some way beat SF, MM probably gets a new extension from Jerry.
