Fans like you are what keeps him rich while preaching "this is our year" every year regardless of the effort put in to make the team better.

You're the perfect fan for an owner like Jerry. You do as you're told and believe as you're told to believe.

You're crazy or just don't understand how things work. Either way it's sad. Jerry doesn't receive money because fans have hope. Jerry receives most of his money from fans watching the games. It's called TV revenue. The networks sell advertising during the game. The NFL receives a portion of those proceeds then shares them evenly across all teams.

So I'm a fan with hope and that's why I watch the games. But Jerry receives money from so called fans like yourself too. Because you watch the games just as I do.

Guys, why are you all so getting worked up about what's gonna happen on gameday? We're just a couple of days away until the truth will be revealed anyway.

Last year we came really close and then our kicker basically cost us the win. Now we haven't improved in that department (lol ), but our D has gotten better. Tom has lost half of his o line and ours isn't something to brag about either. They have proven receivers, we have one proven guy and a lot of question marks.

So all in all it's a... well, whole new ball game (duh) with the QBs making the difference. I'm not writing off Dak even though I think Brady is still light-years ahead. But on gameday anything can happen. Gameday performance can always turn the tides and right now, without getting my hopes up I can't see why Dak and the gang can't have the win in this one.

But either way, at least we'll know where we stand and all that bad guessing and bickering about guesses can be replaced with a lot of bad interpreting and bickering about interpretations.

Blind homerism as a fan. That has always amused me. Some choose to be more positive about the team the pull for to win while others choose to be negative and outwardly say “poor us, we don’t have a shot”

I guess that way you protect your fan feelings by not putting yourself in a vulnerable position to be hurt or disappointed or whatever you want to call it.

Don't break your arm patting yourself on your back. Realistic Fan = Dis-liker Fan IMO.
As no fan saying they are realistic followed it up with anything positive, always something negative.

You said you have more faith in the Cowboys than the Brady lead Bucs without a shred of evidence that says you should other than your fandom of the Cowboys.

It makes your takes less creditable when you allow your fandom to overtake reason. There is no reason to believe what you said. The Cowboys nor Brady and the Bucs have given you any reason at all to think that. The only reason you think that is because you believe, as a Cowboys fan, that you are required to think that or it somehow makes you less of a fan.

I think Parsons will be great, but will take a step back = realistic negative take.
