I was wondering the same thing. I think Peyton would have to win a superbowl before he can get away with that though.

I think that a large factor, besides Payton actually knowing how to coach, is the fact that he learned from Bill Parcells. Parcells assistants are a hot commodity around the league for HC positions. I think NO doesn't mind that he is bringing some of Bills swagger and techniques to Nawleans, specially since that's one of the reasons they hired him.
