YAWN..
turned around like since i see 3 losing seasons in row and like 5- 7-9 seasons total and if they made the playoffs a lot of wild card or divisional losses.. Jerry had a lot of that in the same time frame why didnt he "turn aorund the saints since 2009"??with Drew Brees...I'd laugh if Payton turned Denver around faster than Jerry. lol

More money , higher and a fresh startNew Orleans is in a much better spot than the bronco's IMHO. Weaker division, team has talent on offense and defense, city loves SP so I dunno why he'd want to leave. Like the army says "embrace the suck" cause you in it now sucker.
desperation = willing to give up draft compensation. there’s a reason he said he was going to take another year off
So I guess you're saying no one else wanted him? Does that make sense to you lol. Yes every team knew there was compensation involved and then it had to be officially worked out with the Saints, after the demands were made only one team actually moved forward. Because they are desperate. New ownership, huge QB acquisition, high expectations and laughable results. They'd do anything to stem the bleeding. But it's fine if we disagree.Every team would have gave up compensation for him. It was expected. If they weren’t he wouldn’t have met with them. He met with I think every team with a coach opening and every team knew this

After the other teams moved on lol. Broncos only circled back because they lost out on Ryans, Quinn and Harbaugh. But again, all good broski. No I’m saying he could have picked any of those jobs and went to the broncos.

The other teams moved or Payton told them that at this time he wasn’t interested in coaching them. Sometimes you meet ownership and visions and timelines don’t align. Also sometimes cheap owners don’t wanna pay 18-20m per year for a coach.
With a very expensive QB who was terrible. Few draft picks, tough division, even tougher conference. If he left for the money then cool, cause he didn't go to win a championship.More money , higher and a fresh start
Ouch. Excellent parallel.Denver is like a gambler that bet half their life savings on one spin of the wheel and lost. And now they're putting up the other half in an attempt to win it back.
