Why ain't the Cowboys trading like that, when was the last time the Cowboys got a #1 pick on a trade??

You could trade Dallas’ best pass rusher for likely 3 first round picks. That doesn’t mean it is a smart thing to do. Chubb was young and good and now Denver needs an edge rusher. And because they signed Payton, they have no draft pick to get one with.

Denver is a mess.

Dallas is the best drafting team in the league… you shouldn’t be wishing for anything that Denver has.

It's 100% the smart thing to do if you can get three first round picks for Parsons. You could probably get a team stupid enough to toss a first round pick for Dak too and unload some of his contract. Jerry and Stephen have no idea how to trade though.

Also a great coach and GM can go a long way if you are looking well into the future. Even if, say, Payton has a rough couple seasons but turns things around - we are talking about a team that has been garbage since their Super Bowl. The first round picks will be worth it then. A great coach is more valuable than any pass rusher you can put on the field.
