That plus can our OL hang with their DLs?

If we can’t run I think we’re screwed. Outside of Lamb we have zero threats and we’ll really struggle to move the ball.
We can run on anyone it's just not going to be as potent vs the better defenses which is why they're classified as the better defenses. Will we have the resolve to stick with it is the question. Only Kellen knows.

We couldn’t last year against the 49ers. Hope it’s different this year.

Ideally, yea. But we also need the OL to show up and WRs to actually get open.

Stafford threw 3 picks in the playoffs last year and wasn’t exactly clean during their run. Not the blueprint just saying.

It's a fair point, but the margin of error for the Cowboys lessens if Dak has one of his slow starts are plays poorly.

I hear ya. The slow starts have been maddening.

As much as I despised Garret I’ll give him credit for always having a great play call for the first 10-15 snaps of the game. Feel like we were always hot early with him.

Dak could be cleaner early but not sure Kellen is helping.

Sorry Rock, through the power of positive thinking we'll win the Super Bowl.
I get it. There’s a lot of folks who give up easily. Just look at the game threads. There’s people giving up after the first series. Quitters quit it’s just what y’all do so you be you. Just don’t come here and whine about everything everyday. That makes no sense. We all know you’ve given up. No need to keep telling us.

Dak is not Mahomes or Brady but there have been plenty of average or below average quarterbacks lead a team to the big dance, Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Jeff Hostetler, even Joe Namath in the big picture wasn't considered great and there are 1/2 dozen others who weren't as good as Dak or Romo for that matter numbers wise. This team has all the ingredients to make a serious run if we play to our strengths and do not make mistakes/turnovers, Jerry was right to call out Dak, he has 9 INt's in 8 games this year, he only had 10 in 16 games in 2021, we need Dak to not force the ball, play smarter take a loss or run for 4 yards and slide but don't force the ball into coverage, you don't find that open guy throw it away. Our offensive strength this year is our running game by far, control the line of scrimmage the pass will be there at some point, we seem to be doing better on the penalty's, we have a top 3 defense and a very good special teams' unit, we have play makers everywhere you look and we have a top 6 or 7 QB "IMO" who just needs to manage the game and not make mistakes.

:flagwave::popcorn::dance:
Wrong on so many levels, especially putting everything on Dak. Certainly Dak has to play smarter, but everyone else needs to as well, including the horrible passing routes designs Kellen Moore and his assistants have designed. Even Kurt Warner noticed it and called them out on it in his recent breakdown of Dak's performance against the Texans. The Oline is ranked among the worst in pass protection, plus some of our receivers either keep running lazy routes or not making catches that touch their hands. Everyone on Offense has to perform much better if they want to have a successful season.

Eli was the epitome of average the year he road his DLs coat tails to the Super Bowl.
If you think a guy who will probably go to the hall of fame, was 2 and 0 in Super Bowls, and threw for 6/1 and 9/1 TD/Int in both super bowl runs, and who could play under pressure is average, then i would suggest you don't know what the word average means. It's laughable.

you know you confuse quitting and believing. We are spectators and there is nothing we can do; that is up to the cowboys. We don't have to be delusional about the prospects though for the team we root for. Cowboys can do something this season, but lets see if they can look like a playoff team come christmas eve

I know exactly what giving up easily is. It’s a character flaw. Many here have it.

Huh? There are a bunch. Eli, Flacco, Grossman, Foles, Ryan, Newton, Kapernick, Goff. Hades, Bortles was kept out of the super bowl by some horribly suspicious calls.

Disagree on the bolded.

Ryan & Newton were MVP the years they made it. Ryan outplayed Brady for 2 1/2 quarters before they collapsed. Newton didn't have a great supporting cast to overcome that Denver D.

Eli & Flacco played great down the stretch and in the postseason. By the time both got to the big game, nobody was doubting whether they could win. They proved they could up to that point.
