Really I thought the defense did well. Odell, Shepard and Cruz was held in check mostly. Other then the 50 yard pass to Odell I thought corners handled it ok. Run plays hurt up the middle at the end of the game.

Got some pressure on Manning, Carr had a pick. Offense I'm not going to be too hard against as it was a rookie QB and RB in their first game. We moved the ball well just couldn't get the TDs but that will change. Dak didn't turn the ball over and Dez, Witten, Beasley and Williams all had drops that should have been caught.

I hate losing but 20-19 was a difference of 1 or 2 plays. We were the better team just mental mistakes and drops hurt us.

How did Dak look better? Jordan Mathews had multiple drops for Wentz as well. Wentz's two TD were damn pretty.

Dak played well, Wentz played better.

Who cares about Wentz though? Dak played pretty decent.

When you have bums at WR....it's not much you can do.

Woop woop! It's Week One Overreaction Central.

Guilty as charged. I do have faith that our running game will get where it should be, however our defensive line has little hope. Kinda important with that pesky whole dominate the trenches thing.

We should all care about Wentz. Him being a stud would be very bad for us, regardless of what happens with Dak.

The Eagles WRs didn't play great either.

We won the TO battle, Dak played great, Dan hit a 56 yarder, they missed an extra point...and we still lose. We're a bad football team right now.

Dak wasn't good 2nd half. He focused on Witten and Beasley too much. Should have run with his legs if recievers weren't open.

That was a dumb play. But I couldn't stop screaming at the TV for them to stack 8 in the box. I didn't understand why they had LBs play 6-7 yards off scrimmage on a obvious run situation. They waited until the last 3 downs on defense to wise up.

Disagree.

They dropped a few, but they made some spectacular catches too. It really kind of evens out.

Wentz had a good start.

He also probably has a better passing game system to work with.

Ours is pathetically pedestrian.

I love the instant (over)reaction. Take a deep breath, folks.

Go back and look at the first game of the 2014 season.

It's these types of posts that make it embarrassing to be a Cowboys fan.

It's perspective, folks.

Our 4th round rookie QB just gave us a chance to win. We held NYG to 20 points. We won the turnover battle. We won time of possession.

You give me that every week, and this will be a winning football club.

Dak will only get better. Zeke will only get better. And this defense has help coming in a few weeks.

Back away from the cliff.

Not as bad as it seems

Some of the other Cowboys Sites look like this after a Win.

So we got that going for us

A learning experience for Dak. He's only going to get better, and he really wasn't the reason the Cowboys lost today. Poor run defense, some questionable playcalling, and a brain fart by Terrance Williams did the trick.
