They bought relevancy but winning in the postseason is a dream we will likely have to wait 3 more years for minimum.
And the irony is, play like this much longer and they won't even be relevant.

They'd have had more of Jerry's beloved "relevancy" by trying a new young QB, even if it didn't work. The same old Dak is just stale and boring.

3-3 and embarrassed isn’t the place you want to be after six games, but the season is far from over and is still salvageable. Win your next two and you’re 5-3 and nobody will remember this beatdown. The only way we can save this season from going completely off the rails now is we need a new QB. Trade Dak NOW. Get all the assets you can get. There is a team out there that will take on his contract. Some owner will believe he is the missing piece to their puzzle. I beg you Jerry. Correct your mistake now. Please salvage this season!!
Season isn't over so trade Dak because you trade him all of a sudden receivers will get separation, defense will stop the run and Zeke will turn into 2016 lol. Hilarious lol.

Season is over bruv. This team is not beating SF, ATL, or Houston. MAYBE Washington but doubtful. My odds are on us losing the next 4, 3 of them being very ugly.

Go watch the all-22 and stop it with the lazy takes that this is all Dak's fault, or that he should be able to overcome all of the issues with the team and playcalling just because he got a big contract. He's made a few terrible throws but it's pretty clear he's last on the list of problems. This is a lack of talent across the board and the most vanilla playcalling I've ever witnessed. And doing stuff like running Zeke 80% of the snaps when Rico finally has a good game in Pittsburg. It's just insanity. Feels like McCarthy wants to be fired.

This isn't Madden. You aren't coercing any team to taking Dak. I want you to go through all 31 other teams and let me know which team trades for Dak's contract right now? And it isn't just the contract alone. It's the ROI you get for the contract. Which team is just a QB away from making a run and does Dak actually get that team there? Can't think of one single team.

Jerry went all in and married this franchise to Dak and Lamb. And get ready, Parsons is coming soon. We have yet another loser core as we did in the previous Romo era. We had an out by letting Dak and Lamb's contract expire or at least see if someone wants to trade. I am sure many teams would have listened for Lamb offers. Not sure about Dak. And see what offers we can get for Parsons. But all of that has passed. We have a toxic, losing core for half a decade more.

This is like being required to read a book, and all you've done is read the Table of Contents. Far more issues than just the QB.

People need to get over the fact that Dak is the QB for the next four years.

We are not taking on 195 mil dead cap

Get over it and move on

No….we don’t have to get over it.

We told you guys that this would happen if you resigned Dak to a dumb deal. And we certainly won’t let you guys forget about it!

You do realize that Detroit is still out there ? We just saw what that team can do to us. If you're not building your team to defeat all comers, you're wasting your time. I'm not interested in being "pretty good". What exactly would we be saving this year ?

This post is ridiculous on so many levels...1) no trade clause 2) $150mm cap hit 3)what QB do you really think could come in to save this season??? None!!! 4) even through some absurd multiverse reason we could trade Dak and load up on draft capital next year, is there any doubt in anyone's mind that JJ wouldn't select Shadeur Sanders...dooming us for another 4-5 years anyway.

But back to my original point... this post is ridiculous.

How many of these ridiculous "We need to trade Dak" threads are going to be allowed? We all know Dak isn't going anywhere for the next 5 seasons.

This is why the 1st question after the new deal got signed was “no trade clause?”.

Thanks Jerry, bad signing, bad details.

Can you prove that?
Look no further than what happened to his team when they faced the Bucs in the Super Bowl a few years ago. Mahomes had no TDs and two INT’s. He was under pressure all day, and his team was being manhandled. He looked terrible and so did the Chiefs. They were dominated and that was a MUCH better team than what we have. No way is any QB going to have success with this current Cowboys team. This is a bad football team that doesn’t care. Never seen a team fold like this one does.
