Secondary Issues

[shabazz]

They don't need to "throw on Porter".

The other side of the field is open...

Again.......merely part of the Parker scheme.

Its gonna make sense to the layman eventually.

It doesn’t seem to be working.

I think Cover 4 Read has its place in a defense.

Just not every play.

Keep in mind, Eagles defense the prior year wasn't historically bad where they changed over 80% of the starters. They were terrible against the pass the prior yr but added Mitchell and Dejean in that draft.

We are playing a ton of new guys, along with a few rookies, it is going to take time to get everyone on the same page. If we are still seeing the same defense a month from now, then we should worry, but still is very early in the process.

They had basically the same amount of change as the Dallas D did.

6 of their top-10 in snap percentage in 2023 weren't on the roster in 2024. In 2024, their top 3 in snap percentage were all new players.

Mitchell/Dejean did ton to fix their secondary issues.
