You Dallas Prescott fans would NEVER, and I mean NEVER bet the house on Dak to win anything. If things got real and you hate to bet your house on the field or Dak. You'd take the field every single year.

So you are going all the way back to 2016 to try and prove some type of delusional point in countering someone's post regarding last night's game involving Herbert that has nothing to do with this thread?

Okay, let's play:

In the 2016 playoff game you referenced vs. GB in 2016, the Cowboys were down 28-13 heading into the 4th quarter because this is what Dak did the first 3 quarters:

6 offensive drives (2 FG's, 1 TD, 2 Punts, 1 INT)

40 plays 235 yards 5.88 ypp 17:50 top

14 of 25 56% Comp % 7.04 ypa 176 yards 1 TD 1 INT

So, Dak does what he usually does and that is to be an absent quarterback the first 3 quarters which in that game allowed GB to capitalize and take a decent lead heading into the 4th quarter. That said, Dak led Dallas back to tie the game at 28 with 4:08 left in the game and saw Rodgers lead GB to a go ahead FG (Heath actually had an INT in that series but was negated by an A. Brown penalty which allowed for the eventual FG). Then Dak led the team to a 52-yard game tying FG by Bailey only to see Rodgers make a 35 yard pass on 3rd & 20 which led to the game winning GB 51-yard FG with :03 remaining.

However, unlike Dak Herbert had the Chargers leading 21-13 shortly into the 4th quarter and didn't have a chance in OT seeing as how the Chiefs scored an opening drive TD.

So, keep comparing a game that happened in 2016 that saw Dak do his disappearing act with a game involving Herbert last night to try and prove some anal retentive biased point so as to proclaim some sort of emotional defense for Dak....that's what you do.

Run game sucks, Oline playing horrible and his receivers have been in and out of the lineup. Not to mention he has been ailing. Is it any wonder why Dak and the offense have been in a slump?

Its like some of you have no clue why things happen. AS if we just woke up one day, nothing has changed and for whatever reason the offense is slumping. LOL

And for all the 50 Dak threads I never hear any of you homers talk about the real elephant in the room. The 15 million dollar RB that has completely sucked for 7 games in a row now. I mean, he has literally been one of the least effective backs in the NFL during that stretch.

Is Zeke in a slump or you dont want to talk about that?

I heard the equipment manager sucks too and has been giving Dak too large of a jockstrap the last 6 weeks which has made Dak uncomfortable.

Bang on post. It’s so true. Other QBs get all the latitude in the world. I mean. Did you see that pass mahomes threw yesterday into the dirt that would have been a for sure touchdown? If that’s Dak there is 3 threads about it. And I bet ya they say “well mahomes won a Super Bowl” ok. What has Herbert won? Why does he get that latitude? It’s a joke. Our fans are brutal.

They might try to excuse the double standards by saying how Herbert is in year 2, while Dak is in year 6. But, even with having to start and play as an NFL rookie, being a 4th round pick and getting no time to sit and learn behind a veteran QB, Dak was still receiving a ton of criticism during his first 3 years as a starter and received no leniency from some of the same fans who will give QBs who have been in the NFL for nearly 10 years or more the type of free passes and leniency that they are never willing to give to Dak.

many people have. he’s been absolutely terrible lately. That’s a fact. However, take a look in the mirror why don’t ya, have that same self awareness and accountability when he’s playing very well. But you can’t.

I gave him credit early on when he was playing well but realized that the running game was playing outstanding and without that Dak reveals himself as the average QB he is.

Are you a puppet or something as that has already been asked and now answered but you keep looking back to 2016 as that is the only year that Dak did anything and Lord knows you guys have to hold on to the past because Dak has done S--T since then.

And not only that but USAVet seems to get testy or annoyed with any Cowboys fan on this forum that posts a positive thread about Dak or who makes some sort of complementary comment or observation about Dak. Yet says that Dak supporters "get emotional" and can't handle Dak being criticized. When he seems to be fine with about 20 Anti Dak or Dak bashing threads being posted per week.

But, if a one positive Dak thread be posted, then some on this board will be testy towards the OP who posted it, questions Cowboys fans for posting particular positive topics about Dak (The same type of positive topics just about every other NFL fanbase would compliment and credit their QB for) , and even go as far as to accuse some OPs who post positive Dak threads of "trolling" or "baiting" to get a reaction out of Dak's critics on this forum.

Unlike the adolescents on here I do not use terms like trolling, baiting, or hater but have fun on the playground jungle gym.

I have not been happy with Dak play and no doubt he needs to pick it up and get going. To be fair the offense in general need to get their act together and play to their ability. I'm more interested in seeing things get back on track than to insult players whom as Dak said means more to them than to the outside. Of course action speak louder than words but remember players are required by the league to give access to the media so really no matter what Dak says someone is not going to like it or feel he should say something they would say.

There are plenty of other games where the Cowboys offense scored 30-40 points and still lost the game, because of how many points the defense gave up. More recent games outside of 2016, where Dak still took all of the blame from fans like you, who still will find ways to put the loss all on him and say that he must find ways to overcome other players mistakes or poor play to win the game.

I guess Herbert needed everything to be "perfect" last night in order to win, since this is the same logic that is used when the Cowboys have lost a game with Dak.

Outside of the 2020 season and the 4-1/2 games Dak played, I'm pretty sure the list of games that saw the defense give up 20 points or less only to see the offense crew the pooch outweigh your example.
