i dont think you guys understand. people dont the words faded and up together regarding smoking. if they are talking about smoking they only use the word faded. in smoking sense, faded is being used as a noun, or state of being. in haircut terms, it is being used as a verb, as it tell of something being done. obv you would get your haircut before you go on a trip.

Why would anyone specify they were goin to get a fade haircut before they go on a long flight. He was bragging and publicizing it, like the majority of those losers who have no other claim to fame outside of being one of Dez's 'homeboys'. But I hope you guys aren't really that naive. You can add the word "up" to many things and it still doesn't change the meaning of the word you're adding it to.

It is in reference to the direction of the barbers trimmers and the direction of the fade.
