I guess this explains why we have the exact same issues withh all the young players on the team. It's not his choices that are problematic. It's his age.

I love Dez as much as the next guy, but he makes poor decisions, and it's something he needs to improve. Pretending it's not doesn't help anybody.

I see where you are coming from with some bad decisions, but this wasn't one of them. It was an epic fail and pathetic attempt to slander what he really meant about getting faded up. I hope there is a lesson that was learned here on how to not jump to conclusions.

I'll jump to the same conclusion tomorrow if a tweet is made about Dez doing such and such if there are 2 interpretations to it. (One negative and one not) Because that has been the trend with him thus far on this team as it relates to off the field activities.

Really, the only thing that was proven here is that people were wrong about how they interpreted "faded up". Nothing in my mind has been proven or disproven about Dez yet. We'll see...

I don't care about being right all the time. I've been wrong before and will be wrong again. What I do care about is people falsely accusing other people about something when they don't have any idea what they are talking about. It's called slander. There has been plenty of threads with fans accusing Dez of doing something only to be proven wrong. You would think people would learn to wait and see before jumping to conclusions and running away with them.

I'd take a guess that the majority of posts on a sports forum, especially in the off-season are assuming in nature.

And I thought I was an out of touch white guy. I wish people would leave the guy alone until he actually does something worth getting upset with, but no I fully expect the usual suspects to overreact on something Dez again in the near future.

I don't think it's a race thing but more of an age thing and you're right about waiting until he does something more significant than being late on a few bills to get concerned.

This thread pretty much sums up how the Zone has "de-volved"!!
I noticed after D29Murray posted Dez' tweets confirming he's not THAT idiotic that he'd actually tweet about smoking bud none of his detractors acknowledged their incorrect judgement of #88... I do agree he needs to choose the company he keeps w/ more scrutiny but as long as he's not rockin silver bracelets or getting suspended I couldn't care less...

Dez is the only person I know that can talk about getting a haircut and some jack*** accuses it of being code for getting high.
