This may sound strange, but a huge Sr. Bowl week could end up hurting Watson. He dominates there, then the scouts watch some tape of him at Michigan and they're going to wonder why someone who can be so dominant wasn't.

They'll go through his personal life with a fine-toothed comb.

A solid week and he'll push his stock up. A dominant week is going to have people asking what he'll be like after his first paycheck.

I doubt Gabe Watson will be even picked high Second round. He has major questions about motivation. Haven't been to watch all Michigan games like I used to watch when I was back in Detroit, but Gabe has been major underachiever. Heck he was demoted to backup duty his junior year.

But when he wants to play, he can be a load though. Unfortunately, I just don't trust a guy who can't dominate in college when he has the ability. I doubt those kind of guys will turn it up in NFL, when the going is even tougher.

Funny - whenever I watched him play he was dominant and disrutive.

He'd be a great add to our NT rotation mix and a future anchor for years to come.

He'll go mid to late One, early Two. He shot a huge hole in your out of shape spin by showing up at Sr bowl in great shape and by all accounts was dominant yesterday.

Kids a player.

Watson was dominant at Michigan. Yes - that would be heinous if Watson tore it up this week! He is what he is a mid/late 1st round prospect. 6-3 341 pound solid NT's don't grow on tree's.

I took you off ignore to see if you had any legitimate draft comments. I was wrong.

Do you even really watch college football? The only thing Watson dominated at Michigan was the all you can eat buffet. He would make a tremendous play then take the rest of the half off. Stop by any Michigan board and even the homers will tell you that.

Sure did watch Watson - he is a dominant NT. Thats why he is being talked about as a FIRST round draft pick. Go look at what Big 10 all conference thought. Thats right first team all Big 10.

Your theories shot to crap. Great stuff - if he dominates this week his stock will fall! You go!

That Sooner than Later ain't working out so hot two years later. I feel your pain and angst.

Ant Montgomerie - 6-5 320 He has the athleticism, monster frame, and wingspan and carries an NFL starting grade. I'd almost put him on the 3-4 DE with Spears, Canty. Slide Watson inside with Fergi.

Watson - NT
Pope - TE
Degory - C/G
Jonathan Orr - WR
Smith - FS
Montgomery - DT/DE
Washington - RB

Nick Mangold is OWNING Dusty Dvoracek. It's almost sad how bad Dvoracek is looking right now.

Either that or Mangold is the next Tom Nalen.

Dvoracek was beating people badly yesterday so it may be Mangold.

Watching this on the NFL Network, they're a few people that are impressing me.

Kameron (sp) Wimbley - 'Tweener, could easily be a Parcells type LB. One of the announcers compared him to a lesser Demarcus Ware. At 6'4 240lbs. showed extreme quickness beating one tackle around the end while keeping low to the ground.

Jesse Mahelona - The guy who has impressed me most. Could be a perfect fit in the Cowboys defense at 6'1 330lbs. He was one of the few bright spots on the Vols defense. Watching him play, he is just getting off each and every block. Not extremely quick, but you don't need that play NT. Even when he wasn't getting off blocks, he was eating up the lineman, putting him in the backfield. Only on one play I've seen he was handled. That's only because he lost his footing. Give me this guy in round 2.

Broderick Bunkley - Probably not someone we will look at, but he looks like a freakishly quick DT.

Garret Mills - Joe Gibbs would love this guy as an H-Back. At 6'6 he is a huge target at TE, but during the Senior Bowl he is getting work at FB. IIRC, he was among the nations leaders in receptions. If Dan Campbell decides to go elsewhere, he could be someone to look at down the line.

Eric Winston - I'm still wanting this guy at 18. He got beat a couple of times, but still pushed his man upfield keeping him away from the QB.

Fearless prediction:

DeAngelo Williams goes to the Niners at #6. I bet Nolan is salivating over him.

I'm gonna guess you didn't see the Vols much this year. Jesse stuck out a lot last year, but he wasn't head and shoulders above some other players on D this year. I think his stock dropped some this year. And he was 6-0 311 at the SR Bowl weigh in. I'm thinking he'd be better as a 4-3 guy....but maybe he can play NT here.

Well considering I live in Virginia and my local TV stations are based out of Tennessee, I got the chance to watch quite a few Tennessee games.

With a NT, you want a run-stopping guy who is short, compact and a bit on the heavy side. Case in point is Siragusa, Sam Adams, Grady Jackson, Gilbert Brown, etc.,

Credit goes to nfldraftcountdown.com where I got the info.

A bit smaller version of Casey Hampton. Now there's a guy I wouldn't mind having on our DL.

Mahelena - weighed in at 6-0 311 not 6-1 330
