Settling for FGs won’t get it done in the playoffs

I'm convinced there's something in the water for some of your water supplies

The Jets were possible SB contenders with Rodgers. Why? Cause they have a great defense and finally got a good QB, or did.

Dallas didn't have to force the ball in the half and were willing to take the 3 points. They had a 2 score lead in the 2nd half vs an anemic offense that was under duress.

I agree that we can’t settle for FGs long term wise and especially in the playoffs. But context is everything and don’t forget we played short handed today with an injured Martin and without Cooks, Tyler and Richards. Basically we played with our 3rd string LG against a great defensive front 7. Hopefully in the playoffs we will not be as banged up and will have our starting offensive line.

This is likely true. But we're not in the playoffs yet. And an all-time great defense can change that tendency.

I told my wife, "Let's see if there's any dumb, negative threads about this Cowboys' win."

So predictable.

The Cowboys won by 20 points against one of the best defenses in the league. 20 points.

Whole team gets an A again this week.

some of you “fans” kill me. Beat our last 2 opponents by a combined score of 70-10 and you find reasons to complain. Unreal.
Lol. Exactly. I guess some fans won’t be happy unless we average 50 a game and shutout every team we play. The 30-10 score wasn’t even representative of the game. It wasn’t as close as 30-10. We again beat an opponent handily.

McCarthy realize we were playing Zach Wlison and not Aaron Rodgers so he was playing the field goal game and relying on the defense, which was smart for this particular game.

Beinig aggressive against that Jets D is a quick way to turn the ball over and shift momentum, which is what happened against Buffalo.

Go look at the Ravens when they were dominating, the pats, GB. They all had 3 or 4 games a season that their HOF kicker kicked them into victories. Scoring in the redzone is so hard against any NFL team, today we played a top 3 defense, kick and make the field goals applies enough pressure on the other teams when our defense is doing what it is doing.

True, but the perception is that he doesn't trust the QB. And he would be wise not to trust the QB

NJ Giants and NJ Jets aren't who we're worried about. Play trade TD's for FG's against the 49ers and the Eagles, and we're sitting home again.
