Ramsey has been maybe their best player on defense.

He also didn't get torched by Smith. He allowed 2 catches for 20ish yards.

The argument for Ramsey is simple. Our defense needed more help than our running game. And a first round pick needs to have a high likelihood of producing through his 2nd contract at a high level. And that pick should fill a void harder to fill later in the draft and in free agency.

Ramsey checks off all those boxes. Zeke checks off none.

Is Zeke shaping up to be what we thought he was? Yes. Is he being productive behind this line? Yes. Would our offensive lineman still be opening giant holes for our running back and making defensive linemanand linebackers miserable if we didn't have Zeke? Yes.

I'm oh so tired of explaining this simple concept.
