Welcome aboard Mr Sham, I enjoy listening to you and thanks for setting the record straight. :)

This is Brad Sham and I want to set the record straight about my conversation with Richard Bartel. What's been reported here re: what I said on the pregame show has been taken way out of context. Bartel was joking about putting on the burgundy. It was ANOTHER player who talked to me about it being a zoo. Understand this: Richard Bartel has worked very hard to find a place in the NFL. He would not be stupid enough to say anything to jeopardize what he's done, and I would not lack the integrity to give up something truthful a player had told me in confidence. Are we clear? Richard has worked extremely hard to find a spot in the league, and he has accomplished things most of us never have nor could. He respects his profession, and obviously I have to do a better job of conveying what's been said to me in a joking manner. I'm sorry if anything I said contributed to anyone's confusion on this subject.
Love your work and grateful for your presentation of the Cowboys, without it; well it would be missed to say the least.

This is Dan Snyder, and I just want to say the Commanders suck.

Welcome to the board Brad, got any predictions for the Cowboys vs Eagles game?:welcome:

Got you Mr Brad Sham, I have always respected you as a reporter for along time since 1966. I do sometimes try to post some stuff that you say on the fan with your brad sham report, hope that is ok. Generally just give a brief summary on what you say on your brad sham report on thefan 105.3. Keep up the good work for us fans; joe

This thread is exactly why people in the media should discuss football with us on these message boards.

If Sham makes another post then you're going to get another 6 pages just off of that post.

It would just be a great self marketing tool imo.

I think it moved.

It was nice that Mr. Sham came by to clarify what he said, but I doubt that he has the time to post messages here on a regular basis. He may read this board to get the pulse of cowboyszone, but I am sure he has very little free time to contribute posts on here. Thanks for stopping by Mr. Sham...

Brad Sham, I would like to thank you for your many years of entertainment. Listened to you when there was nothing but A.M. Radio, was it KRLD back in 1974, may have been KPLT, it was a long time ago I guess. lol

You brought the game alive for me as a 7 year old kid, through a radio broadcast I saw the Dallas Cowboys in living color. Your work is still appriciated, we turn down the TV Broadcast to this day and listen to Brad and Babe call the game.

Keep on Truckin'!

:)

Wow - it is so pleasant to have a thread where everyone agrees and no one is arguing.
That is how good you are Mr. Brad Sham.
Thanks again from all of the Cowboy Nation!

I took for granted how great Brad and the Cowboy radio crew are.... Listening to the NFL replay radio calls hammers home just how elite the Cowboys broadcast is.

Mr. Sham,

48 years old I am, grew up in Amarillo, TX. Even in the '70s, I tuned in the Dallas Cowboys Radio Network for every game on TV, and turned down the television, just to listen to Verne Lundquist and Brad Sham. Verne of course eventually left, but you have remained, now the play by play caller as opposed to the color guy.

In both, you have excelled.

I've enjoyed listening to you for sooooooooo long. And always loved it. Your knowledge of the game, tactics, insights, commentary, play calling, everything.

You should be, if you are not already, in the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, at the very least.

Heck, if I were Jerry, I might even consider granting you a special honor in the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor.

Wouldn't that be so cool. And appropriate.

THANK YOU for so many wonderful years. I hope many more are left!

I agree completely. I have Sirius radio, and get a chuckle out of the other teams' radio crews. Many of them have no business being on the radio. The Commanders even have Sonny Jugenson on theirs, and it is painful to listen to. He offers no insight, and would be better served exiting the booth.

I made an investment in a Sirius radio because I got tired of listening to the likes of Joe Buck and even Aikman (sigh) on TV. Instead, I sync up my satellite radio with my TV and turn down Buck and Aikman. I find this has helped my temper during the games, as the TV schmucks sometimes go way overboard.

I now blast Mr. Sham and company through the surround sound speakers in my house on Sirius radio while the game is on TV. It provides a much better gameday experience.

I vote Theebs " most influential poster ". Not only does he start the "Believe movement ", but he gets Brad Sham to post here as well. What's next?

No one's better than Mr. Sham at NFL Broadcasts...

I talked to him on several occasions when I lived in Dallas and he is class personified...

Thanks for clearing up the issue as it was cloudy...

We are lucky to have him...

Don't forget that he gave the entire NFL our draft board last year...

Wow, this is awsome, Welcome Brad, you are the best.

Well since we're all singing the praises of Brad, I'll just say that I wish that Dale could somehow get back in the booth with Brad, I truly missed that pair, no disrespect to Babe, I like him too.
