This is a weird thread.

I’m all for pointing out fans have zero idea how good a job Moore is or isn’t doing, but didn’t expect and do t understand a backahanded bashing of Dak in the process.

Good of you to join us mrs. Moore
But it's not easy being a mom in the NFL
1st of all you have to understand your son has no business being here I don't care how much of a coaching pedigree hes had in the family, he can't find his Arse with both hands.
Linehans routes take a long time to develop, and you can tell they've been preaching Dak to keep his eyes down field . that's OK if you have the number one offensive line football but we no longer do and it shows. Moore is just a yes man for Scott. You see that's the way they want it.
If they brought in a real seasoned QB coach the first thing he'd ask Scott would be why are you putting this kid in a position to fail? 60% of Scott's offense is obsolete and totally readable.
The only time Linehans offenses have worked is in 2014 when he was brought in to replace Callahan's deep ball offense and design a horizontal offense for a weakened Romo. It worked flawlessly. Until 2015 when defenses adjusted and moved everybody up. It failed.

He did the same for Dak in 2016 . In 2017 he returned to his base, you saw the results. It's no surprise that every time we begin a game with a open offense we look awesome, so does Dak..
I could go on, but the bottom line?
Bring in a OC and a QB coach we go to the dance.
It's up to Jason, he sees what works, either he steps up and demands Scott uses Daks strengths, or we will fail. That's on him.
But KM should be coaching pee wee.

You heard me. It’s not Kellen’s fault that Dak doesn’t listen. Kellen has shown Dak the Boise State way over and over. Throw to the receiver before the break, trust your reads, and most important, do your homework.

If Dak doesn’t get with the program, Mike White is being groomed to take over. Better arm, smarter and way more accurate.

But the worst thing For Dak is that he’s going to get killed one day taking all those hits. He’s well on his way to becoming damaged goods.

Oh well. At least we have Kellen developing a fresh new QB the right way, the Boise State way!!!!

Can't teach a player who simply doesn't have the intelligence and coordination talents to excel.
Dak is living his 15 minutes and trust me his time will be over sooner than later.
The weeks ahead will once again verify that this team needs a quality QB desperately!!!!

P.S. Them Dak-Zoids will blame everyone to cover for the above ineptness....

Moore sucked at playing qb in the NFL , that doesn't mean he's not a good coach, there's coaches who never put on an NFL uniform, but were good coaches. But this thread is ********.

Sounds like a Leebair thread from the ranch lol

Did you see any of his Mississippi state games? One thing that Dak is used to is taking massive hits. He played behind a horrible OLine and lead them to #1 in the nation lol - I saw almost all of there games and he can take an *** whoopin like no QB I've ever seen!
especially in a parking lot. Not sure why all the hate on Moore. What do you guys want him to do? Hold Daks hand in the pocket so he doesn't get scared when pressured?

Moore sucked as a QB and he sucks as a QB coach.
He should be back at Boise State selling fish bait.

This is not meant to be argumentative, it's a serious question. How do you know Moore sucks as a QB coach? Is everyone simply basing that on his NFL QB results? Compare Moore's NFL QB record/results to Doug Pederson's. Or Sean Payton's. Or Sean McVeigh.

Kellen might not be a good coach, but if he's not, it's not because of his NFL results. The ability to coach has very little to do with your skillset or accomplishments. Very few upper echelon QBs have ever succeeded in coaching. In fact, none readily come to mind. Bart Starr might be the most recognizable and his record as the HC of the Packers was not successful.

Now, a case can be made that he should've started coaching elsewhere at a lower level and proved himself first, but that's a different argument.

Somebody has steadily changed dak

...notice a lot less jump passes with spread out legs, balls that had nothing on them, inaccurate
...dak, the games in this win streak has been better at moving up in the pocket...with positive results
....he has also limited the silly reverse rollout to his left that was nothing but a negative play

...we actually saw a pass over 20 yards in between the hash marks on the Td to a.cooper

Now "somebody" has to work on ball security and choosing time to put touch on the ball...can't miss Td to Gallup and n.brown when all that's needed is to let them run under it

The problem I have is the lack of coaching experience. We had a young struggling QB and trusting his development to an unproven QB Coach was not a smart move. At worst, they could have hired a more proven coach, especially one with experience in teaching mechanics and fundamentals. I get they love Kellen, but let him be Linehan's assistant or whatever title they want to give him to help breakdown game film or concepts for the game plans with Dak. Look at what we just did with Columbo, he had a couple years experience as a coach, but we still felt it was important enough to also bring Houck in as a consultant and also have Fredbeard with a headset helping on the sidelines. Why wasn't the same importance made for coaching the QB position?

Kellen would be a fine choice for a vet QB that just need the help breaking down film and installing the weekly gameplan, not for one still learning the position.

I was not saying he was a poor coach based on his NFL record or stats.

And I base that he is not a good coach because it seems Dak had regressed as well as the way Cooper seemed to have regressed as well in the preseason. White, who everyone was so high on. Well since he was a rookie, will not fault him. But he did not impress me one bit other than arm strength which is not coached.

I wonder if Houck helped there too. Being an OL guru, he knows what QB's should do and being around the game for as long as he has. He has to know a thing or two about QB's and foot work. Since he knows OL foot work.

Think change for a qb with life lifelong habits is like quitting smoking......the individual has to decide he wants to get better

I'd venture dak was hearing it from Garrett, Linehan, Moore, tv heads, houck

Decided it was time on his own
