Smells like a real nepo hire - which fits in with the Jones'. Got into coaching via his dad. Keeps getting jobs via his dads contacts, but doesnt deliver and gets moved on quickly.

Why is world would be be concerned about “not being able to sell McCarthy” but thinking this would work?

Both can’t be true but but you never really know with a very old stubborn egotistical man in charge who wants everyone to know he is the boss.

Either way….it doesn’t MATTER. He will screw it up one way or another and this team is toast for at least 3-5 years. Again, you don’t have to accept that if you don’t wish to, but part of you knows it’s very true.

They will not improve the roster and have basically already said so. Daks contract for 2025 is year ONE.

Schottenheimer runs the same tight inside zone garbage that we’ve been running because it lets Dak lockin on one target because he’s incapable of surveying the field like Romo used to do.

There’s no deception to this offense and there’s no movement that is the real problem with all of it. It becomes stagnant and predictable.

Truth be told Prescott could not run Kliff K’s offense.

In order for this offense, to be successful, you need a lead mule running back- Jeanty is a must now.

Arguably, this mainly just makes the OC and DC hires that much more consequential, as we have the equivalent of a bus driver at the top...

Coach Jerry definitely needs to hire another Moore and Quinn type duo again that basically carried McFraud.

It will probably be Zimmer and who knows for OC.

Solari returning as an OL coach makes me want to puke too.

The bar or ceiling was a one and done playoff team under McFraud.
But just maintaining their 3rd place status in the NFC East for the next few years is about as well as can be hoped for with the Schott/Dak duo.

I sure hope the Giants don't get a good to great QB...

You always take the interview for the better gig and more $. Doesn't mean you have to accept. Goes for the NFL and corporate world....
