I think they will hire Garrett if Wade goes.

Why do people forget that Jerry Jones made a deal with Garrett that he would be the next HC after Wade, since Garrett turned down a HC offer in Baltimore?

It's like wishful thinking. Fans remember what they want to remember.

1.) Jerry paid JG the highest salary in the league to keep him here.
2.) Garrett likely is fine with JJ "hands-on" approach to being GM, he's been doing it since he took the OC job.
3.) JJ has mucho respect for Garrett.
4.) Garrett is a major part of the working system in Dallas. [Explosive offense, great with Romo, family ties with the coaching etc..]

Giants,Gilbride blows as well.With Shanahan, the running game will be

Three Options just pick one that you would rather have happen.

1) Make Playoffs, Win one Playoff Game and resign Wade.
2) Make Playoffs, Lose Playoff Game and hire Shanahan.
3) Miss Playoffs and hire Shanahan.

I actually have mixed emotions between 1 and 2, but in my heart
feel Wade can't take them very deep in the Playoffs, so I'm leaning
towards Option 2. I personally just hate to see Shanahan go to the
Commanders but do think thats where he is going if not to Dallas.

Really the only issue I see it, if we do happen to win the superbowl, are the players going to be able to carry him off the field? I am not sure they can

I'd like to see even more wins...I'd like to keep Wade, not because he lights my fire, but he's a good coach and I certainly see nothing in Shannahan that makes me think he's a better option. I'm not ready for change, but when change comes, I hope it's a young coach and not another retread who once had a Hall of Fame QB win a SB for him, but also had many years of nothing.

That describes most of the big names out there.
