According to him, it is not a necessity and it could be corrected with orthotics.

From what I understand, it was the Cowboys that flagged the issue.

Considering that they went through the same issue with Deion Sanders back in 1998, it would make you wonder whether it really will require surgery. Sanders did.

Where I would not draft Gregory due to his MULTIPLE drug failures, Drug failure at the combine, Coaches telling them not to test him because he would fail, his light weight for his size, stories that he comes off the field for any injury and that he is a pure pass rusher but is not very good or willing when it comes to defending the run ...I would probably pass on him.

Shane Ray is another story for me. I think he is a good pass rusher and he is pretty good against the run, much better than Gregory. He did not fail a test at the combine but he was dumb enough to have some weed in his car prior to the draft. I am hoping that this is just a dumb kid mistake vs a pattern of someone who does not seem to care about getting a negative test like Gregory. The only thing that would worry me about Ray is the toe situation.

So if the two were sitting there and they wanted a pass rusher and some of the other top players they liked are off the board...I would be ok with Ray...not so much with Gregory. Some have sad Ray might fall into the 2nd or 3rd rounds...Even if he falls into the second (which I don't think would happen) he would not fall to our pick in the second (unless we traded down in the first and got a higher (pun intended) 2nd round pick.

That may be the case. He could also trying to help his own draft stock for the payday. I think he would be a heck of a de but I worry about the failed drug tests and his medical problems. Not sure a 1st would be worth the problems

Really...I did not even know they had any contact with him prior to possible looking now.
