Run defense bad. I did not need Sharpe to note this (started the show with it) however it is clear that we are not going to the super bowl with this, Everyone here can pick and choose what it is they think is the problem or evade the problem altogether but it is staring them in the face and I have been correct all along. Fix that and we have a number one defense in the NFL. Don't fix it and we are sitting for the playoffs.

And the problem is magnified by an offense that will struggle to score and maybe not even score against better defenses. Middle of the pack Dak will not be able to outscore good running teams. It is that simple. Fix the run defense and maybe we have a slight chance.
I am more impressed that you actually understood him. Guy's always had marbles in his mouth.

We’ve seen teams in the past win rings with really bad run defenses. The run defense won’t be why this team doesn’t win
It happened vs the Rams that one time. We couldn’t stop a RB who didn’t do anything all year.

So you say we should ignore our biggest weakness? The run D could very well be the reason why we lose in the playoffs, or before the playoffs, if we don’t improve in that area.

Guys like Michael Vick are part of the running game. There is no rule that says yardage on the ground only counts if it is gained by a player labeled as a RB.
Glad to here but that still doesn’t mean they are the best running team in the nfl. At no point did it feel like the bears had a chance to win that game on Sunday. If that was the browns the outcome would have been different.

Why would it have been different if it had been the Browns? What difference would it make if the 200 rushing yards were from the Browns or Bears?

I would disagree on the comment there was no point the Bears seemed in it. Certainly at 23-28 they had to be considered in it. But even so, being the best running team in the NFL doesn't automatically mean a team will always seem in it. The Browns you are talking about never seemed in it against the Patriots.

In any case, like it or not the Bears are gaining 22 yards per game and .3 yards per carry more on the ground than the Browns.

But even if you want to discount that, so what? Even if the Cowboys beat the 2nd or 3rd best running team in the NFL it still goes against the OP's assertion they can't beat a top running team.

Did our run defense cost us against the 49er or was it our offensive line breakdowns. Was the loss to Tampa because of our run defense or because we only scored three points. Was the loss to Philadelphia was because of our run defense or because we turned the ball over three times.
The Philthy loss was because of DA Fowler jumping offsides on 4th and 4 in an obvious situation where the Shegals were obviously to try to draw us obviously offsides and Fowler obviously fell for it.

There was a video breakdown of Damon Clark’s play on here and what was shown indicated that Clark, a freakin rooking with no training camp, came in and outplayed the wolf hunter. You cant make this stuff up.
