I'd expect to see Shaun Rogers lining up against Proctor all game
long and cause some serious problems for the offense. With Romo
being a shorter QB pressure up the middle without bringing a blitz
could stall this Cowboy offense. Something to keep an eye out for.
I don't expect Rogers to line up against our big guys.

I don't think if Kosier was in there it would make a difference. I've said
all off-season that Kosier is a weak point on this stellar line. His injury maybe
a blessing if Hollande can play and get up to speed quick enough.

Dallas should have made a trade for hollande before TC.

Or Maybe he is not a big impact -

We can gameplan for him too and endurance is not his stong point. He can't deal with our speed - JMO

Why? Will he be at Dunkin' Donuts before anyone else??? :D

Or maybe since Cleveland plays a 3-4 he would have been lined up against the C/G anyway it really doesnt matter.

I feel certain they can wear him out. I can't believe this guy can play even a quarter without wearing down. But he may make the team change their game plan. I'd wouldn't run at him but make him run to the play. He can disrupt running up the middle but I don't see him stopping us from running around him. And Proctor is not Kosier. By a long shot or new guy wouldn't be here for the short term.

Rogers has to take on Gurode or else the Cowboys would be able to dominate them on the right side interior in the run game.

The Browns play a 3-4.

Which means that Gurode will be taking on Rogers on every snap he's in the lineup.

So what are you whinning about again?

:laugh1: beat me to that post

Gurode will need help and that comes from Bigg and LG. Rogers will be hard to be moved by one guy. They can get around that some. But they need to be able to stop his penetration and Gurode may not be able to get as good a piece of him as we'd like everytime. He doesn't have to line up directly across from Gurode. But that can be taken advantage of as well. Just move him where he goes if you can't move him where you want. That's with any opponent. So it's not entirely simple on D or O.

I believe others have already
stated the same, but Cleveland runs
a 3-4 so Rogers would be head to head
with Gurode.

Regardless, we won't be running plays
directly at him so that he would have to
move more and be sucking wind by the
end of the quarter.

Would he even make a difference with
the secondary concerns they have?

it will be interesting match-ups.....but remember, they are the browns and we are the DALLAS COWBOYS

Tie a donut to the back of Felix and let him run down the field once and Rogers is done for the night. Just like the last time we faced him with Detroit. :lmao2:

Rogers can be a force, endurance is clearly a question mark with him. I don't know if the Cleveland staff are having any better luck with him that Det but I would not overlook the effectiveness of Rogers.

That's his job. Ours is to combat that.

Gurode and Bigg will move him! :laugh2:

OH SHI!

We are sooooo screwed. HOW WILL WE EVER DEAL WITH THIS IMPOSSIBLE MATCHUP?

The Vegas betting lines must be like 20 points in favor of CLE.

Rogers is indeed big, dont take him for granted because on pass rushes, against the bears, he was moving the offensive tackle back to the QB, etc.

BUT, you have to have faith, Bigg Leonard Davis will take care of him, thing about rogers, he looked like he was about 360 and thats being generous. If you remember in the detroit game last year, he ran out of gas.

Thing the Cowboys must do is keep leaning on them and running, run blocking, and wear rogers and number 98 into the ground. If we can keep up with them and make them play longer on defense then they want too, then we have them.

So, go get them Bigg.

How did we ever win 13 games last year with all of our problems.

because the other 13 teams had more problems! :laugh2:

sometimes you have to have luck, or like the Lord on your side;

you must admit the Detroit game and the Buffalo game, the cowboys were very lucky

still though, i have faith that Bigg Leonard Davis can handle Rogers, and so can Columbo, he brings a nasty streak that is needed on our team

then gurode can finish them off, with flozell helping some

then on defense, tank and spears will bruise them

and adam jones will finish running over them after ware finishes them off
