Shedeur Sanders trade proposal

The Raiders are the one team where Dak trade makes sense. Tons of cap space and no prayer of landing anyone in the draft.

Tennessee is better off taking a dart throw on Cam Ward or Levis, because their window doesn't align with Dak at all. Cleveland would be a good fit for Dak, and Dak would be a really good fit for Stefanski in Cleveland, but they are handcuffed to Watson.

Cleveland would laugh in your face if you made that offer to them. You WAY overvalue Dak and I would much rather take a chance drafting Shedeur Sanders and hope he doesn't bust than trading for Dak.

You’re asking Cleveland to move down to 12 and the gift is Dak ? You already have expensive ineffective Watson who can’t stay healthy . Give them 12 in round one and throw in your second rounder and for Shadeur Sanders your pretty much ignoring your 31st ranked defense in giving up points.

Even with 12 and your second rounder they don’t make this trade .

Yeah, after posting my premise, I came to the same conclusion. Cleveland can't because of Watson. Tennessee probably wouldn't because of Levis. I will be a little surprised if the Titans go QB in the first, period. I think they give Levis a little more time.

The Raiders have the room. The question would be whether Sanders will make it past some of those QB needy teams. I mean, despite Levis, the Titans could still take a QB. Cleveland could go with one on a rookie deal. And the Giants need to find one. And of course, the Raiders could just draft one instead of trading for ours, even if we were willing to eat all his bonus money.

It's highly, highly unlikely ... and I hope I was clear on that from the start ... but like I said, if Deion ends up as coach, I wouldn't be surprised if we found some way to make the stars align (such as Shedeur refusing to play for certain teams).

Cleveland can't afford Dak.

They already have a 70+mil QB in Watson out for the year and you think they want to add a QB with a 47mil base?

If anything Cleveland needs to take a QB high to survive the Watson contract and he can't even play in 2025.
Imagine the stupidity of making the exact same mistake at QB twice in a row. That might be enough to disillusion even a Browns fan and that's saying something!

I could get behind Deion if you tell me he brings on a stud OC.

I’m not trading Dak unless I feel good about a potential long term franchise QB and and a potential upgrade or at least equal player…aka one of the top 3 from last year.

Shadeur is not that guy…not even close IMO.
