Favre is Romo's favorite NFL player. Romo idolizes Favre.

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that doesn't mean romo kisses arse and agrees 100% with everything about favre.

why some people push every statement to make-drama-value i'll never understand.

My only question is this, what 4th round pick is better than Randy Moss? That should have been a no-brainer. I think they got Clowney from V Tech around that pick, but come on. I think a 3rd round pick would have been a steal for Moss, and very little risk.

Agreed. honestly i dont think Moss will ever be the same player he used to be but if Favre really wanted Moss that bad then i dont understand why they wouldnt give up a freaking 4th rd pick for him when probably the production that Moss had in oakland would still be better normally than what a 4th rd pick would bring. doesnt make any sense to not try to help out your franchise's best player ever...

Seems he was excited about next year when the Larry Johnson to Green Bay rumors were flying around.

Seems he was excited about next year when the Randy Moss to Green Bay rumors were flying around.

Now that those rumors are no longer...............BOOM........he'd like to be traded.

Brett.......................retire already.

Favre is partially to blame.

I can remember two years ago...as well as last year....Favre keeping his intentions secret until June.

The Packers "wasted" a first round pick on a QB. This could've been used on a player that would have an instant impact. But the Packers had to protect themselves for the future.

If Favre had come right out and told the Packers he intended to stay several more years, then they could've picked players to help him out.

Now, I'm not saying they shouldn't have taken a QB.....but they could've taken one to develop on the second day...

That's not what happen, he told them before the draft in Feb or March. In fact, Farve was pissed saying that he didn't see how taking a QB was going to help this team in the immediate future and that there were needs that had to be addressed that weren't.

That's not the way I remember it. I recall Favre not saying what his intentions were until AFTER the draft.

Yeah....I can remember it being such a big deal.

Glad I'm not the only one to remember it that way.

Never said he did, nor did I imply that. My statement was to say how nice it would be for Dallas to aquire Favre, whom cheered for Dallas as a young'in, and how it would be great for Romo to play along the side of his icon. It would never happen, but it would be nice if it did happen.

Because some people don't understand the correct meaning of the statement and judge it before they do get the correct meaning. Just some people though.;)

Favre is not the same player he used to be. The Pack should have cut him, took his salary and go buy a couple of good players to help speed up the rebuilding process. They drafted his backup in 2005 thinking Favre could retire at any time and they would need his replacement. Memo to the Packers: Time to turn the page.

Lousy little has-been. Pouty. I wonder if GB is tried of being held hostage of this idiot's continual pout and prima donism.

Hope they trade his ash to the Raiders. LOL

I agree. I wonder if Farve is going to take yet another 'final' lap around Lambeau this season only to come back for another year. He is a has been and an attention ***** that lives off of the attention the losers in Wisconsin give to him. I cant wait to see him fail yet again this year.

Come on Brett, that all time INT leader trophy is WITHIN YOUR GRASP. Make it happen, baby.

Favre is partially to blame for the Green Bay situation regarding WR's. If he had stood behind Javon Walker when he was holding out instead of guilting him into coming to camp Walker could very well be on that team today.

Instead Walker feels pressure to come back, tears an ACL w/out a new contract and he is done in Green Bay and , really who could blame Javon for that.

Now he is mad at the organization for not going out and getting a has been and a cancer to play with him (also a has been). Thats a reach if you ask me.

I have always liked the way Favre played the game and has been fun to watch but feel no sympathy at all for him now. He is done and should retire a Packer because he no longer has the skills and arm strength to play the game the way he likes to play it.

The packers should realize that he wants to win a superbowl and retire...so they should leverage this fact in a trade to help their franchise over the next few years....some team would probably give up a lot for his services.

Greenbay needs to do what is right for the team, not just try to keep Favre happy or content.

I can't imagine too many teams would give up a ham sandwhich for Favre at this point in his career. Favre isn't the QB he used to be and needs to retire.
