I can't imagine too many teams would give up a ham sandwhich for Favre at this point in his career. Favre isn't the QB he used to be and needs to retire.

He'd be a good Vinatieri/Bledsoe/Brad Johnson veteran backup type anywhere else - if he would accept the role. So far he hasn't been much of a mentor for his wanna-be-a-protege in GB, Aaron Rodgers.

I'm late to the game, but count me among those who are done with his schtick. What good does he bring the Packers now? They're not a playoff team with him, it doesn't allow for his potential successor to grow, and he is growing distraction with his constant criticisms of the front office and his neverending "will he retire, won't he retire" offseason hot-potato wavering.
