This is one of the numerous things that makes the offseason so great -- thinking of things that might be. :flagwave:

I mean the idea of two of them is enticing. But it's not feasible. That much money into two edge rushers just isn't realistic.
It wasn’t realistic that we got Deon Sanders either! It wasn’t realistic we got Charles Haley! But it happened and we won Super bowls!!!

Unrealistic things happen all the time!

Jerry loves you!

Teams that know how can make cap space. See Philly. See the Rams.
The Rams had to move on from a number of players to create cap space. Aaron Donald retired, which helped create cap space. If you think I’m defending Jerry, you’re wrong but good luck signing Myles Garrett after paying Dak and CeeDee while having enough cap space to re-sign Parsons.

I never mentioned Jerry or Stephen. Who are we supposed to believe the fans who come here or those who cover the team? The point I’m making is they don’t have the money for Myles Garrett or are you one of those who think it would be no problem to fit him under the cap?
You misread my comment about Jerry and Stephen. And yes, they could fit him under the salary cap if they wanted.

Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett growing frustrated could help the Dallas Cowboys shock the football world with a blockbuster trade.

The Dallas Cowboys’ offseason has arrived, which means it’s time for fans of "America’s Team'' to lay claim to other teams’ stars in football’s version of Manifest Destiny.

This time around, the Dallas faithful have their eyes set on bringing Cleveland Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett back home. Frustrated with the Browns – still drafting in the top five nearly a decade after taking Garrett with the first pick in 2017 – the superstar has suggested that he needs to see a reasonable path to success. Quarterback Deshaun Watson’s contract might not make that possible.

He is arguably the best defensive player in the NFL (this side of Micah, of course.) And the Cowboys, no matter what the naysayers whine about, can afford whatever the price tag is. ... via their $100 million potential cap room.

Virtually any other offseason exercise is more worthwhile than wishing upon a star for a future Hall of Famer, but the idea of Parsons and Garrett together – with a ball-hawking secondary and franchise quarterback carrying their weight – is enticing enough to daydream about as more fortunate teams get the thrill of January football.

This team isn't big enough for Garrett and our resident Diva Micah Parsons.

Can you imagine Garrett getting 15 sacks a year and Micah 7?
It would not be a nice scene, I can tell you tha slick.

I don’t see how they could have four players making elite money in the top five at their position and be able to build a great team with depth. It’s hard to get far if you don’t have good depth because there’s going to be injuries. Our championship teams had great depth. They would have to go cheap everywhere else to pay Garrett and Parsons.

I'm still in therapy from the previous Garrett.

At least this one is good at His job.

Obvious click-bait, never gonna happen, though I think the NFL's vultures will be looking to pick over the rotting carcass that is da Browns.

Maybe a Team with oodles of Cap space would consider a Garrett/Watson 2 for 1 one special discount, for say a 2nd rounder, this would clean the slate of the catastrophic Watson mistake and free the Browns for their next cataclysmic blunder.
