Shocking stat on Cooper

Great frame and tough to bring down with his leg power, really impressed with Cooper thus far!

I don't remember the exact quote but after the trade Jerry said Cooper was a true #1 and only half the teams in the league have that, which is why they made the trade.

He got flamed on this site of course, but he was right.

How so??

Cooper is just getting more comfortable in this (joke) of an offense

If we start hitting on those deep passes this thing will blowup in a good way
Because, this offense (because of the QB) is wildly inconsistent.

The next bad game Cooper has, this whole site will be calling him a bum and it was a bad trade

My problem was never with Cooper. He’s a good player.

You just don’t make investments like that when your QB isn’t good at using WRs.

I hate the trade. I don’t hate the player. Cooper doesn’t make a big enough difference with this QB and O Coordinator.

He's already made a difference but you are so much of a "player" homer to admit it. You would go down with the Titanic with Dez' P in your mouth. Wake up dumby...

he's making the other wr's better. maybe he can do the same for the coaching staff.

I know most of us were shocked and upset about the first round pick.

But Cooper is a stud. He has everything you want in a receiver.

Again, it sucks to give up the first. But Cooper is legit.

I think the only people upset are the ones who wanted the Cowboys to draft a QB this year. But once you realize that the Cowboys at the VERY LEAST are going to let Dak play his contract out.......its easier to swallow the pill on that 1st rounder.

This organization just couldn't' sit here with Allen Hurns and Beasley as their best receivers.

Michael Gallup is more talented than both of them.

Hurns is a #4. Thompson is a camp body. Williams was running on fumes. Beasley, Gallup and Cooper as the top 3 receivers all day with Hurns coming in on 4 WR sets until Austin is healthy.
I don't think they plan on letting Austin be a big part of this offense aside from jet sweeps but I wonder what happens with him. Goes from being a slow unit to a very fast one.

Thats a very brave statement...

Offense sucks!!

Blame the QB and #1 WR!!!

Thats a given bro! but lets be real Cooper makes plays and has made a positive impact on the offense since he showed up...

Thats what you want from a #1 pick kinda like LVE on defense who is making plays and is showing up

2 games and you feel like that pick is validated huh?

When it comes to Linehan, Garrett and Dak controlling how big of a factor Cooper will be I will win this debate in the long run. It’s inevitable.

He’s suddenly made Hurns a viable receiver. I don’t know if it’s because lesser CBs are on him or now he feels pressure but he’s had his 2 best plays in back to back weeks.

As a depth guy you just want Hurns to make 1 or 2 big plays per game that he’s a threat but you’re not reliant on him

Ill take that bet....again, how is your heel feeling?? Hope it is better....and YES two games in.. I am fine with giving up the #1 next year because I know the team would've reached for a WR. I am liking Amari each and every game thanks...

He is an incredible route runner.

As I said before, he is a 6-1, 210 pound Beasley with more speed. Cooper might actually win in a change of direction contest over Beasley.

This. Dude is polished and a stud. #worthit so far.

The thing about the Cooper trade, which I'll never like because I would marry the draft if I could, is that that one move basically solidified a pretty pathetic WR group. He's your 1. Gallup is your 2. Beasely your 3 and Hurns your 4. All legit. No glaring hole there.

Austin has a chnace to really add something if he comes back...
