He's been a mixed bag. To be sure, though, that RT position isn't as easy to play as people think it is.

I'm wondering if there's maybe an issue with Frederick here early. Either health, or that he's not entirely comfortable with Green next to him or something. It seems like we're getting physically beat to combo blocks in the interior for some reason, and I'm not sure why. I can't remember getting this much penetration between the OGs other than with the Giants and MIN games last season.

And then the TEs (both Hanna and Witten) seem to be struggling to get to their edge blocks. The whole offensive protection just looks off for some reason, and we're getting beat in the backfield too often as a result.
I also think teams saw what Denver did and they are going to copy it. A lot of 8 man boxes and a lot of run blitzing.

Hahahaha. I don't know if anyone makes unverifiable claims as often or as confidently as you. Seems to be your bread and butter.

How many teams get dominated by a three-man rush like that?

Not to mention, OUR three-man rush. LOL

The oline needs to get it going.

I think they are struggling to gel with the new guys at OG and OT.

I think it is hurting the other Olinemen as well.

I think I seen T.Smith beat more these last couple of games than I have for the last few seasons combined....same with Beard.

Each OL has been dead on a few plays each game. But, the TE & WR blocking arent doing us any favors by any means.

Ya missed the biggest stat thus far. In fact, I believe a lot of our fan base hasn't even noticed the OTHER Demarcus, as in Lawrence. This kid is playing lights out.
Through two games, Lawrence is tied for the NFL lead in sacks with four. He had one all of last season, and his career high was eight, in 2015.
Lawrence sacked Emily twice and then got Denver's QB Siemian twice last Sunday, including a forced fumble.
Although far fetched, Lawrence is on pace for 32 sacks, which would annihilate the NFL single season record of 22.5 set by Strahan in 2001. He gave reporters a hard time about their sudden interest in him. Hey, at least they noticed.

I just wonder if Collins as the foot quickness needed to play tackle.

Heck, there were times where his foot quickness looked border-line in pass protection at guard.

I'm sure he will get a little faster as he gains experience and confidence, however, I am a bit discouraged as to what I've seen of him at RT so far.

Wondering if the Cowboys should put Green at RT and Collins back at LG......

The running game is not going to get going if they keep going 3 and out as often as they have the last 2 games.

The longer a drive lasts the more the offensive line can wear a defense down.

They have to get Beasley and the passing game going early on in my opinion.

.....there was someone bringing this potential problem up before the season began.

:hammer:I think this will fix itself once Dallas plays somebody that doesn't have a top ten defense, but excellent points.
