Shocking stats, both good and bad

The Cards T.O.P. was helped by the same head scratching safety coverage that baffled me last season. WAY too many times, you see a well established WR, like Fitzgerald, wide open all over the field, with no safeties within 15 yards of him...or a WR streaming down the sideline, being covered by a CB, while Byron Jones trails badly. Any great coach sets up his players for success, but too many times I see BJ looking really badly. Now, when they put him at CB on a premier WR or TE, he does very well. Either he needs to go back to playing corner, or Coach M needs to teach him better over the top technique.

Zeke's extra weight wouldn't bother me if he still had his quickness. But he doesn't. He looks like a mix between Brandon Jacobs and William Perry out there (and not in a good way).

I stopped reading at that point.

Bend dont break defense was at its finest last night...

Our redzone % and being able to finish drives with scores has been a nice change

But seriously someone needs to get with Pollack bout that Oline they have been so dissapointing that I would like people to stop with the label of "Best oline in the NFL" this tag is not deserving of this group of guys

I was down on Green but he has played better then i thought. That being said i would like to see J. Cooper at LG, he is much stronger. I have no problem letting this line gel and they are getting better.

Sacks
Cowboys - 6 .......... Cardinals - 1

Third Down Efficiency
Cowboys 2/9 - 22% ......... Cardinals 8/18 - 44%

Time of Possession
Cowboys - 23:45 ......... Cardinals - 36:15

Red Zone Efficiency

Cowboys - 3/3 100% ......... Cardinals 1/4 25% (KEY STAT OF THE GAME)

Penalties
Cowboys - 9 for 76 yards ........ Cardinals - 6 for 50 yards

Ezekiel Elliot
Ran the ball 22 times. 12 of those runs went for 1 yard or less.
We were lucky to win, they were well on their way to crushing us in the first half ala Denver. Fortunately, they are the Cardinals. We need to have an offensive mindset consistent with our 4th quarter play yesterday. Pretend that it's the 2016 Steelers game every week, the hell with this conservative game plan, we don't have the personnel for it.

I just wonder if Collins as the foot quickness needed to play tackle.

Heck, there were times where his foot quickness looked border-line in pass protection at guard.

I'm sure he will get a little faster as he gains experience and confidence, however, I am a bit discouraged as to what I've seen of him at RT so far.
May be time to end experimenting , Green to RT and Collins back to LG

And in the Cardinals previous two games 21 of the 56 runs from scrimmage went for a yard or less.

......hardly shocking when you consider they were the #2 defense in the league last seaspn.

I mean, these guys have pride, they heard about the Best Offensive Line in the History of Mankind led by The Unstoppable Zeke and they fpught hard.

Everybody should have realized this was a tough game

And the league didn't do the Cowboys any favors. They started the season against the #10, #4, and #2 defenses respectively.

The Cowboys rushed for more yards than 7 of the Cardinals last 8 opponemts and this game was the first in exactly a year they were shut out of takeaways.

Seriously, a lot of you guya sound like opponents are just supposed to roll over for the Cowboys, some of you need to become a little better informed about the qyality of Cowboy opponents.

Amyway there is only one stat that determines victory:

Dallas 28 points, Arizona 17 points.

Take a few seconds out to enjoy it.

I think what we are seeing has more to do with Callahans coaching finally wearing off. I believe we are seeing the true results of our current line coaches efforts, an inefficient and at times ineffective unit.

BS, never heard of a dark pilsner :)

Ya, well our fellow brother and cool dude asthmafield
Isn't a drinker, yet the initial stat posted is strikingly HILARIOUS,,, YES?
( now us beer Swillers know ' pilsner' means a light golden beer brew,,,but a minor casing-liner malfunction shouldn't diminish from that payload delivery:thumbup:)
o_O

I like this stat: Dallas 28 Arizona 17 :)
99.6% of ZONERS AGREE
(although only 69.4% will don their scientist lab coats while going on record to verify this casing-liner statistical fact,27.3 will claim their wife hadn't complied with their wishes of having it freshly laundered and pressed,,,and 1.7% will lay claim their dog birthed a litter of pups on their scientist lab coats!,,, which is rather telling in the fact that the 69.4% of verifying scientist lab coat wearing fans are either completely anal retentive and suffer obsessive compulsive disorder,,or are utter and complete sloven slobs that like those low hanging scientist lab coat pockets to carry an extra can of dark pilsner and maybe a spare pistol,,,,it's kinda hard to sayo_O)

Not going to lie, I want some of whatever you were smoking when you made this post.

Ha, that #72 on the extreme right flank of that picture sure as hell hammered that dez T.D. OVER the line when he bulldozed those 5-6 Cardinal casing-liner's holding Bryant UP AT THE 1/2 yard line,,,o_O

:dance::starspin::dance:

We do not see the blocking or pass protection from last year. There's your problem.

Yeah..It was, amazingly, Defense that was the key to the win.....with a little help from a befuddled Cardinal coaching staff.....
They showed up. WOW. Now if they could just sync with the offense, we'd be unstoppable. :D
