It must suck to be so miserable about the Cowboys.Don't see it this year.
Don't feel this team has the IT factor.
They can't figure out how to win in the post season.
Until they do, rinse and repeat.
I'll call that bet but I won't raise!! This should be the best chance for a big dance appearance in 30 years. BUT I'm still tempering my excitement because I've been disappointed for 30 years, and will continue to look forward to the Game Day Menu threads. If they jump the shark, then I'll still have fun laughing at the Jones bogans and reading about new recipes on here!We are officially one week from watching a Cowboys game! I am more hyped about this year’s team than any team I can remember beyond 1995. Part of that is our roster, and part of that is the lack of NFC rosters around us.
If you had to bet today, how far you think this team goes (assuming no injuries)?
I’m saying MINIMUM NFC Championship!
NOTE: If you are currently responding with ‘we need to wait and see…’ or ‘You can’t assume no injuries….’, pop a cold one, let that hair down, get out of your own head, and burp up an answer!
It’s time for football! Go Cowboys!!
Not miserable, rocky , looking forward to the season. It must suck to be so miserable about the Cowboys.
People who give up easily go against my grain. Not miserable, rocky , looking forward to the season.
I was just answering the OP with an honest explanation.
Until this team proves they can win in the post season, I think it's a fair assessment.
If you feel differently, I respect that.
Cowboys will continue to befuddle their fan base with their inconsistent play; showing tempting glimpses of potential at times, then explicably go out and roll over for a weaker team. The Cowboys will peak in week 7-8…then enter their annual mid-to-late season slow decline just in time for post-season play. But no mind, Jerry shall consider the season a success and will find moral victories everywhere he looks…
I hear you....People who give up easily go against my grain.

That would install hope!I get that.
What would you have to see in the regular season to let you hope for more? I don’t think it’s fair to expect Dak to take any more steps. For me, it’s seeing a defense that’s so dominant, they can basically win playoff games for you without needing a stellar offense. Right now I half believe that defense might exist if health isn’t a major issue
I mean...yes, I feel the same way. Cowboys fan since '78 but JJ and his jackhole son have kind of crapped all over this organization so much the stink just won't rinse off at this point. Just talking about it in the kicker thread. What kind of team that considers itself a contender can't shore up the kicking game by August? As someone accurately pointed out in that thread, kicking can win/lose you about 3 games per year. Buncha clowns. Not miserable, rocky , looking forward to the season.

The way they are handling the kicker situation shows our front office doesn’t know how to be professionals.I mean...yes, I feel the same way.
