Should Dak have played during the preseason?

There's only a handful of starters who didn't play in preseason, Rodgers, Herbert, Murray, Goff, Stafford. Most HC's think it's important to get a few reps, and the players are always saying it.

Hard to see a few series in preseason making a difference. They've been running plays all camp though so they should be in shape. If there's rust its likely with the Dak to Cee Dee connection or game 1 jitters.

I care about actual numbers. 22/32 is not a huge majority and you're still just bringing up players who have nothing to do with the actual thread (Stidham lmao). The QBs who aren't playing: Dak, Herbert, Rodgers, Murray, Goff, Stafford, Lamar - not even counting guys like Love and Allen who played 1 series and did next to nothing - completely disproves your point. Nobody wants to see anyone get injured, but I can see now in this first game if it's sloppy people saying "he should have played in the pre season!" I always with they’d play a half or so in pre season but since we’ve went to 3 games he never plays

Game speed and practice speed is totally different and though I get the injury risk I think a half of football is worth the risk.

Dak practiced every day at camp. Preseason games are overrated and highly profitable for the Owners.

Starters do not want to play and risk injury for peanuts. They do not get a regular game check in the preseason.

I'm laughing at this a lot, in 30 other threads everyone wanted to see what Trey Lance had (i get that it made sense) and now after we know its "Why didnt Dak take some snaps" we are all over the place..is it "After 8 years we know what we have" or is it "Lets get him some pre season snaps to get him some work"...I mean lets just use the Ole reliable "Pat Mahomes took some pre season snaps!"..its easier and cleaner...
