Video: Should Dak Prescott be concerned with Joe Milton joining the Cowboys?

It supports your stance Ezekiel Elliott was seen as a significant offensive contributor in his rookie year according to the Associated Press. It neither diminishes nor dismisses Dak Prescott's offensive rookie contributions, which were also recognized by the AP.

In short, what it does is fit each differing opinion within a more comprehensive and balanced perspective for discussion purposes. Or, at least it tries too, lol.
No doubt, but the issue is that just as you caution overreach on my claims...claiming that Dak "carried" the team when the guy who literally carried the ball for more yards than anyone and dominated the NFL was on his team is more than disingenuous. Dak was carried by a veteran team of talented players which included Zeke. When Dak didn't have Zeke the next year...he looked pretty much as he looks in the playoffs.

The ONLY way Milton sees the field during the regular season is as a situational QB for a play or two or if Dak gets injured. That’s assuming he ends up the backup.
....I see your point, valid too. Dak is making huge Lotto money.

The Jones want wins, of course. Should Dak stink up the joint, *hopefully not*.

I can see Milton taking helm. Whether he'll be good nor not? ...Idk.. ;).

All depends on how Milton looks in camp. If he struggles the Cowboys would probably add a veteran before week one to cover themselves for a potential Dak injury. Also can't totally count out Grier, but he's probably going back to the practice squad.
True. I would expect the Cowboys to look for a veteran QB after camp if Milton struggles.

I think you ain't wrong. :)
You ask me how i really feel. I ask you what do you think. Thats your answer ?

I dont feel any different than the way i explained it in my post. And i think i explained my thoughts very well. Maybe i am wrong ?!

Or do you think i magically tried to transport some message between the lines ? I do that sometimes. But this times i tried to be very precise.

Milton would have to light it up, stringing together win after win to keep Dak on the bench if he’s ready to return from an injury. Some fans here already seemed convinced Milton is better than Dak and is our QB of the future. They thought the same thing when we traded for Lance. lol
Dak is washed. He will be lucky to get through a season without an injury. If they get in the playoffs we know whats going to happen. I don't think Milton is the answer. I hope he becomes a franchise QB, but I think will be just a backup. I think people just hope Milton will be the guy. After year 10 we know Dak isn't getting the Cowboys deep into the playoffs.

I wonder if Bills, Cheifs, or Bengals fans get scared when their teams sign or trade for a backup (for now) QB like Dak fans do?

I'm gonna guess no.
