Jason Garrett is the highest paid Offensive Coordinator in the NFL.

Why on earth would you give someone all that money and then turn around and hire someone to hold his hand?

OBV because you paid him a **** load of money and thus far your investment has lead to any postseason success.

well they did say today on thefan that jerry jones is going to announce today about the big fight at cowboys stadium and that jerry jones will fill in more about wade on a later date this week;

wade could push for jim zorn now that zorn is out there; like when wade wanted dan reeves as offensive consultant

they also brought up another good point hostile that there arent very more coaches that want to coach for jerry jones, that jerry might be running out of top coaches to coach for the cowboys

someone did call in with a good thought though, hire cowher as offensive consultant and talent evaluator for 2 years, then wade has a year to win a super bowl etc, and if he doesnt then you have cowher in place; (granted im not fond of cowher-took him 16 years to win a superbowl) but that might open the door for another head coach in place to be on the team ready to take over

i think what it is though, jerry jones has already promised jason garrett the head coaching job, and its his when wade leaves;

How is a damned lie a good point?

I realize people are bitter over the loss but does losing really have to make us stupid too? You don't think if Wade were not coming back that Jerry couldn't get any Head Coach he wanted?

Child please.

hos, keep in mind people by and large don't pay attention. they see what they agree with and chime in 90% of the time.

case in point - CHOICE IS PISSED ABOUT HIS ROLE ON THE TEAM!

check out that thread. he NEVER SAID THAT. he was pissed about losing, yes. he didn't know what the future would hold, he'll just do the best he can - but because someone decided to make it a subject line - almost every response was WELL HE SHOULD BE.

suddenly choice now to many people is credited with saying something he never said cause people get mentally lazy and just chime in w/o thought.

scares the hell out of me at times.

I think they should bring in a consultant just to introduce a few more wrinkles to the offense. Dan Reeves or Jim Zorn would be a few good choices. Why not cause it wouldn't hurt to bring in a few new ideas without scraping the whole thing.

i think thats what my friend larry does, he hears things, then jumps at them and is too lazy to write them down or look it up, so then in his mind, he adds stuff he wants to hear to it;

Then you write them down and look foolish. That's my point. He's Ned Pike. Stop listening to him.

Yes, I will tell him so to his face provided punks like me are not flies on the windshield of his 6'3" 245 pound life.

I dont know how true this is, but i heard someone say that liar coach childress attacked jason garrett because our defense and wade was too good. But that jason was too simple on his play calling and formations, etc.

good grief

:laugh2: lol dont shoot the poster, just saying,

let me ask you this question then hostile,

do you think rex ryan has done a good job with the jets,

didnt he get them to the champioship game and win first 2 playoff games his first year?

im not saying i like rex ryan, but to me he is a quality head coach, (i dont like the ryans because of buddy ryan) but if rex or rob ryan are good coaches shouldnt you at least be interested?

this also gives by the one year extension to wade and jason garrett, time for them to either put up or shut up, they will have had 4 years to get to the championship game and the superbowl, more than enough time to me; hopefully wade and jason will do it this year with a few more championships on the way

but you should never shut a door behind you without considering options if they are there;
