Should Romo just retire?

I hope Romo wins a SB with this team but I honestly do not see him making it through 16 games much less the play off games assuming they make it that far.

Dak best be ready to go and it looks like he is thus far!

Side note: we need to look at cuts hard for LB and Edge help!

Just listened to Romo from the postgame. sounds fine and upbeat. laughed about how he wouldn't have been able to handle that hit a few years ago.

but that was a few years ago

not saying he is ok to play during TC when he takes weds off - for what BACK PROBLEMS

Retire no, he wants a ring first and I hope he gets it this year. Then he can retire on his terms, hopefully.

if anything its good news he was able to withstand that hit. people are saying that wasnt even a bad hit. well **** u arent the one on the field. feels alot different actually beeing on the recieving end of the shots.

i think romo will be ok.

Let's see 16-16-15-15-4.

It's not like he's played 3 games in five years. Roethlisberger has been in the same boat. You play until you can't anymore, last season doesn't matter and if you're worried about it, better not even watch this year.

Besides, we all know you 're one of the ten who can't wait for him to leave so not surprising.

No I just believe the rookie can guide the team further than Tony Romo ever has, and come the end of January, you'll be saying damn Game was right!

A lot of people are probably wondering this. Personally I think he should, he's taken too many shots, and I think he should seriously consider it. I'm tired of seeing him getting laid out. bash away

Won't bash it. Love Romo but it may be a fair question. Not based on his ability but based on his fragility. Personally would love to see Tony play 2 more years. Will back him till somebody replaces him and will support hat person as well. It's just that simple as a fan of the Boys.

Romo needs to stay in the pocket and not try to leave if he's under too much pressure he just needs to go down.

As much as I love Romo, it's evident that a new era is beginning in Cowboy's land with Dak, Ezekiel, and this O-Line. Romo is going to become the odd man out sooner than later I'm afraid.

Or just throw it away.

Romo has never learned that over his career.

It's the same old thing..he gets hurt trying to extend the play and exposes himself to hits.

That hit tonight was plain vanilla and we all saw what Romo did.

He's tough but the body is failing him.

We've seen this over and over with QBs his age.

It's over for him..just a matter of time.

The big concern with Romo is that the refs allow defenses to tee off on him, so whereas Tom Brady can extend his career because opposing players get penalties if they touch him, players are free to go all in on Romo. He should have a couple of years to get a shot at the ring, but the amount of hits he has endured over the years seem to be catching up and he should think about calling it quits after a couple of years to preserve his health.

Thats the problem right there. He is not able to handle that hit today. In all honesty it wasn't even a huge hit. What happens when he is rocked? He frightens me and there is no way he lasts the entire year.

I love the hype and player that is Dak, but Tony is tangible greatness. Count me with those that are with Tony till he decides he's done. Tony's always had his haters, they'll be coming. Nothing new, right :(

Dak is amazing, but he needs to continue to learn (I'd like to see him take some snaps from behind the center, and continue to work on not throwing off his back foot). He has time to learn with Tony at the helm.
