well yes and no, best of my knowledge, there is a law or moral character that as a media representative you cant divulge info, or you lose your integrity, honor, etc.

again, some media personnel dont care what they reveal, i once had a high opinion for john madden, even though i didnt like him when he was the raiders head coach, but as an analyst i did like him;

but when i found out that Michael Irvin told him confidentially some inside info on how Irwin ran his routes, tips of his trade, and madden promised not to tell, then madden showed it on national tv how irvin beat coverages etc, i lost respect for madden;

it all goes back to what you believe, your honor, trust, when i give my word, i tend to keep it, and i expect the same from a person if i tell them a secret, like irvin did with madden, but when you break that trust, your honor, trust, character, morals comes into play, let alone lying, which is a big no no to me

its just how strahan said he was retired, now he says he isnt, how he said farve should have stayed retired, and now he is doing the same thing;

thats a double standard to me, so why should you trust a person like that;

and then again strahan visited camps of mostly teams the giants were playing this year, why did he do that? Common sense tells you. LIke one fan said or mentioned, he can tell the giants players,

but if he does, when word of that gets out, his creditablility as a media reporter and analyst is shot to you know where,

This is one of the silliest complaints I've ever seen in my life. For reasons already mentioned this is one of the dumbest things to worry about.

How can you put Farve's return and Strahan's return in the same context. Strahan had no idea he would be asked to return until Osi got hurt Sunday. Stop being so paranoid and allow the Giants to try and pick up the pieces.

I can't believe that this is actually a thread topic.

some of you might be right, and i might be too hyped up over strahan seeing all of the teams that play against the giants, etc

but if i am right, i said it here first;

i was the one way back there that first said, this team had no leadership on the team, that some of the players didnt seem to care to win, or have heart, and that collapse always happened in december and january;

so if big sacks, giants run over the cowboys and other teams right and left, you read it here first, and i tried to let you know;

I don't believe you were a pioneer in the thought that this team lacks leadership, that some of the players didn't care to win or have heart and most certainly that they tend to slack off late in the season.

But you have the idea that Strahan in camp for day could lead to our demise. You have that going for you. Which is nice.

You can't be serious. Media types aren't supposed to divulge the info they get? I suppose the media seeks out all this info just so they can keep it to themselves.

Talk about melodramatic. We've been warned guys. Right now we can do something about it, but we're all just disregarding cowboyjoe's concerns. We will rue the day we laughed at this thread. Rue it I tell you.

What about the satellites that the Giants use to spy on the other teams?? How can we get them things blasted out of orbit?

You make it sound like he was allowed in all the meetings and given a playbook. Give me a freaking break, what a joke. You're so paranoid it's not even funny. What kind of "ultra secret" plays or "inside information" would he have obtained? And you said he went around to the Cowboys players asking how they beat the Giants players? I think that kind of stuff is pretty damn obvious. But really, what good did that do for us in January?

You're way, way too paranoid.

Put it this way.. Chad Pennington was with the Jets for how long? How long was he preparing to try to be their starting quarterback?

Now.. should he not be allowed to play for Miami since they'll play twice a season and obvious knows all their "inside" or "top secret" information?

Really, think about it.

So is everyone pretty much under the impression that he is even coming back? Chances are, he is not making a return. Sure, there is always a chance. And I will even concede that there is more of a chance with Osi getting hurt. But the percentages are still with him not playing this year, IMHO.

Is he smart enough to be a concern?

Considering he spent 15 years playing the sport, yes. He just doesn't know anything to tell.

I don't think it is an issue. There is not that many things in football that have not been seen before. Heck you can run several different plays off the same formation so it does not matter what Strahan may have seen at other camps.

On a local tv radio show today, a fan brought up in interesting subject. The Giants are trying to get Strahan back with them. Should Strahan be allowed back in the NFL, (is there a rule against someone like Strahan that went to Cowboys camp, along with Eagles, Commanders, etc) seeing their formations etc?

A friend of mine said that Strahan went strictly to every team the Giants played this year, I am not sure about that, but what if Strahan did, and saw secret plays and formations aginst the teams the Giants play this year. Is that legal and should Strahan be allowed back to tell the Giants coaches those plays, secrets, etc??????????

I thought George Allen was dead, who knew he was right here on our forum?

Should free agents be shot instead of released to go to other teams?
