well yes and no, best of my knowledge, there is a law or moral character that as a media representative you cant divulge info, or you lose your integrity, honor, etc.
again, some media personnel dont care what they reveal, i once had a high opinion for john madden, even though i didnt like him when he was the raiders head coach, but as an analyst i did like him;
but when i found out that Michael Irvin told him confidentially some inside info on how Irwin ran his routes, tips of his trade, and madden promised not to tell, then madden showed it on national tv how irvin beat coverages etc, i lost respect for madden;
it all goes back to what you believe, your honor, trust, when i give my word, i tend to keep it, and i expect the same from a person if i tell them a secret, like irvin did with madden, but when you break that trust, your honor, trust, character, morals comes into play, let alone lying, which is a big no no to me
its just how strahan said he was retired, now he says he isnt, how he said farve should have stayed retired, and now he is doing the same thing;
thats a double standard to me, so why should you trust a person like that;
and then again strahan visited camps of mostly teams the giants were playing this year, why did he do that? Common sense tells you. LIke one fan said or mentioned, he can tell the giants players,
but if he does, when word of that gets out, his creditablility as a media reporter and analyst is shot to you know where,
