Signing Ware makes a lot of sense as a part time player. He addresses an immediate need and may have a positive influence on players like Lawrence and Gregory. However, Ware has been very banged up the last 2 years and hasn't played more than a 1/3rd of the Broncos snaps. It all comes down to the cost, if its similar to the 3 year 26 million deal Peppers signed at 34 then we should be out. If its a 2 year deal 2 to 3 million in base with additonal incentives for sacks it would be a bargain. A 4 to 6 million a year deal may be the fair market value and would still be worth looking at.

History has shown the top pass rushers in nfl history have had success at age 34 and beyond. Nearly all of the top 12 all-time leaders in sacks have recorded atleast one double digit sack season after turning 34. Signing Ware is worth the risk....

Our entire front 7 got stone walled against the Pack, not one single sack after like 3 weeks of rest.

And you guys are calling Ware a warm body?....................NEWS FLASH...........our entire front 7, except for Sean Lee, is nothing but warm bodies.

Ware with one leg and a bad back is just as good as any of our current DEs...........think about that for awhile.

Sure, Ware playing opposite Von Miller in Denver is better than our DEs. Ware in Dallas playing with those guys I'm guessing is a different story.

So ... Call a meeting with the rehab guy, the team doctor, strength specialist, DC coordinator and the position coach to oversee an injured, aging Ware.....
WORKS FOR ME!!!!!
If he's cheap, he wants to resign in Dallas anyways, he would be cheap labor and possibly add something to our pass rush, while mentoring younger players. That's what I see.

That sounds reasonable. Not a reach to see that. Thanks, stout fellow!
