Should the Cowboys bring back unrestriced FA Demarcus Ware?

1. It bridges the 1 year gap to see what Gregory can contribute.

2. Doesn't force our hand to reach for a DE in the draft.

Allows us to select the BPA...which will probably be a CB.

That's my thinking. And I wouldn't be opposed to see us take a developmental DE like a Derek Rivers later in the draft.

And that's with less wear and tear playing in a 3-4 defense.

He started to get injured playing in this 4-3 several years ago. The odds of it happening again are even higher now.

And he's accustomed to making big money. He'll either demand a large salary to put himself through the grind again, or he'll outright retire.

And this team already has way too many linemen with bad backs as it is.

I would bet as a part time situational rusher....He still has some gas in the tank. Probably gives you 7-9 sacks for the year.
