Would you be opposed to a trade w/ the Dolphins for Dion Jordan?

My thinking is this.

Trade your 2nd in 2014........and a conditional pick in 2015 (as high as a 3rd) like when the Cowboys traded for Charles Haley

Since this draft is deep in defensive tackles then perhaps the best way to fix this Demarcus Ware debacle is to trade for a similar player.

Draft goes like this.....

1st. Dee Ford (replace Spencer)
2nd. To Dolphins for Jordan
3rd. Dominique Easley, DT Florida or Kelcy Quarles, DT South Carolina or Ego Ferguson DT LSU

I think this could be one step in the right direction.

I would. But I'd grab a guy like Murphy in 3 to replace Spencer, not Ford. There's more depth at DE than at 3 technique

With the first, I still go for Donald.

If the kid is truly a first round talent, I wouldn't be opposed to trading a 2nd rounder for him. But how good is he?

Don't seem to be a long list of teams waiting to do this, and it was announced a couple of weeks ago that he was available for a 2nd

Watch teams like the 9ers get starting offensive tackles for next to nothing. THATis how you do it. The last thing I would do is send a 2nd day draft pick for a guy that is on the out 1 season after being a top five pick. Fish smell?

Seems fairly early to give up on your first round draft pick. Did he display a bad attitude or poor work ethic?

You should ask yourself.

Why would a team give up a #3 overall draft pick from last years draft for a second round pick and why have other teams not traded for it already.

I think if you would ask yourself that question first, you would not ask the question you just did.

what has jordan done to warrant a second or third rnd pick for? he could'nt produce on the field and you suggest we give a high pick for him because he was highly rated coming out. what about rating him based on what he did on the field. then a 3rd would be a stretch for him

martin is not exactly a player i would get excited about. he struggled on the field and appears to be a bit soft. they got him for nothing because he has shown nothing on the field

all i've thought about since the story first broke was, didn't this situation happen last year with Cleveland and Indianapolis? and the consensus was that wow look what Indy pulled off! and look at it now.

not saying Jordan is potentially as big a 'bust' potential as Richardson, but after 1 year hanging your #3 pick (that they traded UP for in the draft if i remember correctly) as trade bait gives me a bit of a Spagnola-ism

Well here is your answer genius.....

There is a new GM in town. And he wants picks to build his own team. Now.....If the Dolphins new GM wants to go this route....then why shouldn't the Cowboys for once benefit from someone else's ineptitude?
