Anyway, I don't know. I used to think that making drug use legal would end all the drug wars and violence. Now I see what is happening in those west coast cities on the news with all the homeless drug addicts. That is no way to live and as a good people we should not allow our fellow human beings to live in such suffering. It is not the "Christian thing" to do. Our society needs to move away from the legalization of drugs. And NFL players should not be promoting drug use!

Just my opinion.

Absolutely. My best friend works for the Cowboys, and he told me about more failed drug tests than the public actually knows.

Josh Gordon is a freakish athlete and his 2013 season was sensational and looked like it could be on par with Calvin Johnson. That's why he got chances.

Randy Gregory a first round prospect, but he wasn't some freak athlete with generational talent. He got chances because Jerry Jones loves a good redemption story.

What I read was they still test, they just raised the level so that most players could pass, as long as they dont smoke the day before a test.
Before any player with half a brain could pass the tests, as long as they quit for a week or 2 before the test, and they know when the tests
will be , unless they failed a test, which then it got harder.

I dont know why u guys care if these players can smoke weed or not , when most of us cant?
Your being like the nfl, which is they want the players to play, but they dont want the image of the nfl tarnished by players who
get caught for possession etc.

Cowboys had the one guy who was selling pounds, and got caught, which was bad image for nfl.
The nfl, especially goodell, only care about the image of the nfl.

I would like to see drug testing abolished for all jobs, but until then the players should have to deal with it just like everyone else.

There is so many BS studies around marijuana at this point because it truly is the gateway drug to open many other drugs to become legalized that it's hard to even say if it's performance enhancing or not.

And I have no idea why you are bringing up alcohol. You said: "It does not enhance a player’s physical performance in any way." - the claim wasn't that marijuana makes someone's performance worse.

The issues with "studies show" is that marijuana every other week has a study making it out to be a miracle cure for many types of ailments and mental problems. All of which, depending on the organization, would label this as performance enhancing. You cannot on one hand be okay with many medications being banned due to falling under performance enhancing and also support studies showing marijuana gives similar effects to said banned mediation.
