I posted this in another thread and was asking the same question. I mean a rule is a rule that the owners and players agreed to. What is the sense of having a policy if someone breaks it and it is not enforced? Since it is not the Cowboys, I highly doubt it will be. Just my 2 cents.
What Kaepernick did was breaking an NFL rule. It's because Roger the Clown didn't enforce the NFL's own rules then, we have it blowing all over the place now.

Screw you dude, I don't do Facebook. This was sent to me and then an hour later that person said he found out it was fake. So don't pull this desperate bs on me.

I’m sure that’s exactly what happened.

According to this, should the Steelers be fined or something happen. But since they are one of the 4 chosen untouchable teams, Goodell does not have the balls to do anything, unless it was Dallas.

“The specific rule pertaining to the national anthem is found on pages A62-63 of the NFL League Rulebook. It states: 'The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. 'During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition... ...It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.'”

So it’s akin to a guy not wearing his socks right
It says suspension could be one of the disciplines if the rule is violated so it's worse than wearing your socks wrong.

"...may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses."

How about draft choices taken away? That was complete BS. But hey...let them protest. They got beat by the Bears....Karma doesn't discriminate.
