Should there be stipulations in Micah Parsons contract?

You can not include stuff in his contract that violates the NFLPA contract. You cant say to Micah, we need you to be at all off season workouts, even the "Voluntary," workouts. If you do that, they arent voluntary and they violate the general players contract.

Different situation, NFL was still fining for drug tests and the Gregory deal feel into a grey area as states were relaxing Marijuana laws but the NFL still had marijuana on the naughty list. Gregory up to that point pretty much missed parts of almost every season due to drug test violations.

Slow down coach. Walt Garrison was a real Cowboy. These was always talk the team should limit his rodeo activities during the off season.

Can't remember if they did or not. Not sure Micah has the mindset to get in a rodeo arena with 1800 lbs of mean.

But then he might scare that bull so bad it cowers in the chute.

I agree about him getting beat up playing the way he currently is being used. Probably not the most popular reply, but I wish they would've never put him on the edge. I think he's best at the LB position and it would have been a lot easier to build around him from there.

My understanding is that he is not a great LB .
Over runs plays and poor in coverage.
But I am not a scout . LOL

The guy has been a top 4 defensive player since the day he entered the league.... and we want to complain like the all knowing experts we are, that of course the team doesnt know what to do with him and are misusing him.... smh

This place is never full of surprises.

Why would the team give 2 ***** about vacations and podcasts during the offseason?
It’s the offseason and he’s a football player entitled to live a life outside of football during the offseason.
As long as he’s not doing something inherently stupid like shooting himself out of a canon in the circus or skydiving, or extreme mountain climbing or joining the Ukrainian army there’s no justification for stipulations for anything he’s done!

Why on earth would you want to get into highly unusual contract conditions? That is insulting to the player. Across the league, players take note of garbage like that.
