me too, Witten had a higher yards per catch average, and only 1 less TD on less catches as the 3rd option (we didn't look to Witten much in the redzone btw) despite being the focus of double teams at time and helping support the passing game

if some of you want the better blocker, then by all means, take COoley, but if you want the better receiver, Witten is your guy

Why would it be useless? If Witten is good, explain to me why. I am not saying he's not good. I don't know anything about him.

Just like we tend to be here. Most Skins fans that have come over here lately just can't seem to grasp this concept. We're going to heap praises on our team, and dump on all others....especially the Skins, Giants, and Eagles.

btw- related to your post, but in a different thread---i didnt mean to implicate you, necessarily, in the other thread for making excuses- i meant that as a general statement about many fans -of any team. fans like tyke1doe and iceberg validate my point that fans of other teams can discuss football without insults and excessive homerism

This isn't directed towards Gamebreaker, because he's actually one of the better ones here (despite this discussion), but you guys really have a bad batch of misinformed, horribly homered Skins fans here. I wish we could get a few more intelligent ones around these parts so the generalizations wouldn't spread so rapidly.

Whenever a Skins/Cowboys thread is started, it turns into a homerism thread, and eventually turns into a snide remark battle about each other's message boards.

Eventually my fellow Skins fans realize that insulting the other posters on this board won't bode well, as they have a much larger army behind them.

i think that every team in the division worries about what each of the other teams can bring during gameday. i wouldn't say anybody fears another team, cause that's half the battle lost right there. these players don't get signed to be scared.

Nice posts gentlemen. You both just earned some respect from me. I have no idea why some of your brethren think they can come on this site, insult Cowboys players or fans and it will be taken well. I don't understand the math. Many of them came here after the MNF win last year. The intent obviously was to rub it in. None who are still here crossed the line, but the annoying factor is getting thin for a bunch of them.

There are Skins fans who come here that are highly respected by the old school guys around here. The reason is simple. They're here to share thoughts on the game of football not to try and win pissing contests.

All the Commander fans pretty much think that their team is good enough to win it all this year. Personally, their additions of Randle El and Brandon Lloyd hardly scare me. They believe these two are gonna make their offense explosive. Are you kidding? Both are good enough to be third recievers in a given offense. I was just curious, do you guys fear the Skins? We looked to Cooley sometimes in the endzone, but there were also a lot of passes to Mike Sellers. He had 7 TD's himself last year. Cooley led all TE's in catches coming out of college. He has hands of glue and he can run a defender or two over if need be
