Should we be scared of the Commanders?

Okay, let me quote you.

Now, let me repeat myself but I'll say it with different words in English. Hopefully they will be easier to follow.

Let me guess, all Skins fans think Dallas is going to be tough.

I'm sorry I don't believe you if that is your contention. I'll bet I can go to your boards right now and find people who think the sweep of 2005 means we're a gimme.

You guys keep acting shocked that some Cowboys fans don't see you as the big wall we have to get over to win the obstacle course. It's getting old.

First of all, I'd expect more maturity out of an mod in regards to changing my name in your quote. I have zero clue what your problem is, but whatever...

I never said there are not Skins fans who think the Cowboys will be easy next season, just don't think those type of fans are the majority. Don't put words in my mouth.

By the way, what 'big wall'? How about you stop generalizing my post with every other Skins fans post you read and just reply to what I wrote?

Sounding a little butt-hurt there.

Don't cry, dry your eye.

I absolutely have no problem with you thinking your team will be a playoff team in 2006. They certainly can be one. I believe it is a serious dice gamble to have such little depth but we have no one behind Bledsoe and were void of depth at OT last season. Watching that end our season early I fear depth right now.

I don't think our team is as thin depth as most here do. Maybe because I've a better grasp on the depth players and what they can do. Years ago, no one would've expected Lemar Marshall or Antonio Pierce to fill-in due to injuries and play solid. Our lack of depth at QB, CB, and offensive tackle are the positions I'm most worried about. Yet you can only assess a team for what they have, predicting a team will go through massive injuries, what some have done in this thread, is unlikely to come true IMO.

However, Brandon Lloyd has NOT put up legit number 2 WR numbers.

Look at the numbers of #2 recievers for the past two seasons. His stats have been very close to those.

The thing is the guy was the SF first option most of the year. He hasn't yet had 50 catches or 750 receiving yards. Those are numbers your tight end has surpassed.

He's going into his fourth season, has shown alot of potential, but has been very inconsistent as well. It's very possible the below-average quarterbacking (and I'm being nice when I say that) had a good deal to do with it. 30% of Tim Rattay's incomplete passes were bad throws. Nearly 40% for Alex Smith, who only threw one touchdown with 11 interceptions. Performances that bad should be illegal. Regardless, Lloyd has to bring his best game every sunday and not once a month. We'll see how he's developed this season.

I think the Skin offense has a chance to be really solid. But its also a player away from being a bottom 10 unit. I would say Dallas is in the same boat but I would also prefer going to Romo with the 2 TE offense and TO then going to Campbell with a bunch of smallish WRs.

If you get stuck with Romo because Bledsoe goes down, I could see TO becoming a huge distraction for the team. He's complained about QBing from much better players (i.e. Jeff Garcia).

Last season the NFCE went according to injuries. I expect much the same this season.

I agree.

The moderators here are virtual Dalai Lamas by comparison to moderators such as Art with ExtremeSkins. JMO.

It's all in good fun I'm sure. Gotta have a little smacktalk with all you Deadskin fans over here stinkin' up the joint.

Just so you know, and Hos will attest to this. When we're in discussions in threads with the members on the board, the moderator hat comes off.

And like Kilyn said, it's all in good fun. Besides, Hos does it to everyone. And as much as most of the new Skins fans on this board come over here to tweak this board, you cannot be that sensitive.

Well, THAT'S certainly debatable.

You're clueless? I'm not shocked, but thanks for the admission. Be real careful about calling me out in the forum. I'm joking around with you. If you can't take it cry some more or PM me and tell me your feewings are hurt.

If you know there are fans who feel this way across the NFL then don't come here acting all shocked that some feel that way here. How hard is that to figure out?

How about you learn to read? That whole part of the post wasn't about putting any words in your mouth. It was about trying to slow it down and explain it to you in a way that you might possibly comprehend. The wall part was what is called in English an "analogy."

Raise your hand if you need help understanding what analogies are will you Wind Breaker?

Why is ExtremeSkins even a part of this conversation? Stop diverting the issue and stay on topic.

You brought MOD conduct into the thread. I'd say comparing the conduct of MODS on your team's official messageboard and this one makes it on topic.

Wind Breaker is having a bad day. Must not be much ventilation in his room.
