he could be in Tennessee, or @ USC, or in the SEC...who knows with that kook....I hope to GOD that he stays in philly and keeps them non-relevant for the next 10 years though

He won't be at USC, thank you Jesus

Just out of curiosity what do you think the gnats Beckham would bring in draft picks? You know. Younger and on a rookie contract for a couple more years.

No less than two first rounders, and a possible 3rd. As much as I can't stand that kid, his talent is through the roof.

I think we could get 2 x 1sts or a 1st and 2 x 2nds for Dez. With the saved cap space, this is worth considering.

DAL would take a 16m cap hit this year if we traded him before July 1st, an increase of 3m.

The team trading for him would inherit a 4yr/47m deal with 22m left in guarantees. Not a bad contract.

We could probably get two #1s for him and that contract.

Lost in the concern for the OP's sleep pattern is the general premise of this thread. Would you be willing to move on from Dez Bryant? It'd be tough to do with his contract but I'd seriously consider it.

For a first rd pick I wanted to do it before we gave him the mega contract and made him an untraceable albatross

We've seen what the offense is like without Dez in there. Everyone else gets shut down once they don't have 2 guys covering Dez. Dez has had some disappointing games as of late, but he opens things up for others. I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to watch the garbage dumpster of an offense that would result in trading Dez. Expect at least two years if not more of bad offensive play while the new receiver tries to get integrated into the system.

I'm if the view that the team needs to start completely rebuilding ala the early Jimmy Johnson years. Dez is at his peek. Production will start dropping in a couple of years and Dez has his injury problems. We're also likely to have to take a cap hit on his salary in 3-4 years time - when we will be contending again. I love Dez as a player. I also loved Herschel. But the team comes first.

Should he be traded for multiple high draft choices to restock the team with young talent? There are always GMs out there who think they are 1 player away from a SB and who likely would offer

So Sam Bradford goes for a 2nd rounder but Dez is worth a 4th?

Chip Kelly absolutely blew this. The Viking couldn't get a first rounder for AP, I'm guessing Dez likely wouldn't get us a first rounder unless Chip Kelly decided to get ******** again.

AP could get a first rounder. Vikings didn't want to trade him.
