Should we even be happy about this win?

I just look at it as preseason. See what players are worth keeping.
that is why and personally if we wanted a new coach id prefer to have him here now looking to see what we have and what is worth keeping and what is not.

to me, this is wasting time or JJ telling us, im keeping Mike.

Call me crazy but I enjoy winning instead of getting our *** kicked and especially when we haven’t won a home game in ages
mr CT----but remember if our all star linebacker had not pick sixed the ball.....our offense could only muster 20 to their twenty with their 3rd string QB and several on injury list

i know its big Mike who is our offensive bottle neck....Rush went 5-1 last season....but he is a decent game manager.....what do we need to be super competitive next season

Dak is not bad and has had good games and yes i know some bad ones but after paying him 60 million a season he is ours for 4 years...so we need a good RB to tandem

with Rico....we need better 1-tech....better receivers....more help for both O and D line and rushman....cornerbacks and maybe safeties....and we could accomplish all of that

in one year if Jerry would keep his promise he is going all in....yes with a good coach and players setting our sights on NFC champ game next season is reasonable

I assume the cowboys will never win a Super Bowl again. I hope that’s not true but with that mindset, I’m not disappointed when it doesn’t happen.

And if it does happen, then awesome!

But with that said, knowing that Super Bowl won’t come, every regular season game is meaningful. The long term result doesn’t matter, just the result of the game. If we win, I just enjoy it! They just won the game, hopefully made some exciting defensive and offensive plays which they did today.

I know I can’t give up my fandom because it hasn’t happened yet so I know it’s not going to happen. So I might as well enjoy every game they win. But fyi, I still refuse to purchase cowboy gear until serious front office changes are made. But I’ll still root for the team to win. I hate a losing culture
i would say i stand with Homer....but paralyzed...but i sit with Homer on this one

Hey on a regular basis we analyze every little thing and bench race every facet of this team continually.
Every once in a while and Thanksgiving is one of those times where it's fun to just be a casual fan not worry about the records of the team your drafting position or anything else but rooting for your favorite team to win on this special holiday.

The Cowboys winning on Thanksgiving is just one of life's Little pleasures that I don't like to overthink just enjoy.

Maybe all that juicy smoked turkey has gone to my head, but can we really be happy about this win? Until we beat another team that's actually worth it than the tired Giants, what's there to be happy about?? Please give your thoughts
We can only play the teams on our schedule. We were 3.5 point favorites. We crushed the line. We were big underdogs on Sunday. We crushed that, too. We’ve been underdogs in most games this season. We just aren’t a good football team right now. I’ll take and be happy for any wins we get. Beats being embarrassed after a game.

My "thought" is that I'm happy about ANY win. Would you rather have choked your turkey down with a loss today?

Swear to God, some guys here just love to wallow in misery, rather than enjoy the small successes that worm their way into our lives. It's crazy.

Beat the team on the schedule, and worry about the next game next week.

It really doesn’t matter anymore, they will win 7 or 8 games and out of the playoffs anyway… picking in the middle round. Nothing impressive.. Of the NFC teams that played today, the Lions, Bears, Packers would easily beat Dallas. And as you saw the Giants are the Cowboys without Dak and Rush.

It's not like we aren't in the hunt now...

One game behind the Commanders who currently hold a wildcard spot. We have to win out - so yeah, I'm happy we won as a fan. Do I think we win out? Nope.

I think the tankers will be happy the next few weeks. We may win one more somewhere, but probably lose out. That'll give us a high enough pick to do some good in the draft.

Just be glad our genius GM can't give away any more quality picks for proven NFL failures.

I'm going to start charging you for my thoughts, lol.
Our draft position is already screwed. I see us at 8 - 9, which will have us picking about mid pack.
all we have left is just enjoy the games for what they are. Watch players develop and (everybody)come to the realization that Cooper rush is probably the best quarterback on the team right now. The biggest question between now and next year is, what do you do with Dak Prescott?
you've got Rush to act as your interim quarterback over the next season. So the prudent thing to do would be to get Lance on the field in a system that he can work with, and see if you have anything or not.
Will we do that? probably not because we have the stupidest general manager and family in football.

Just enjoy a win with your family on Turkey day.
No, it doesn’t mean we are going to the playoffs, but it’s a hell of a lot better than watching another beat down.

As for those on team tank, our last two first round picks, Mazi and Guyton, are both looking like busts right now so why would you trust the same guys that drafted them to make our top 10 pick if we had one?

The players are ecstatic. That’s what makes me happy that they’re happy. Could care less what the fans think.

Jerry is happy. He will get at least two more prime time games and the Cowboys will lead off the talk shows.

It was inevitable we'd win one or two. Might as well try to enjoy them. I think we will still lose most of our remaining games and end up with a good pick.

Of course. Be proud. Beating up on Washington and the Giants are the signature of this franchise.

It allowed Garrett to hang around the league for a decade, made Prescott a very rich man, and gave Jerry and his kid a half an argument for being “football men” with their regular season wins.

I’m not even concerned with draft position, but when wins like this allow Jerry to boast, and claim that they are “around the rim,” it makes me feel as if perpetual mediocrity is where we will remain.

A win is a win is a win. You can only play the games on your schedule and beat the teams placed out before you. Tanking is all well and good, but anyone rooting for tanking is not looking at this right. It's Jerry that is in charge....he's making the choices, so he'd screw up any tank picks anyway. We're screwed until Jerry is six feet under. That's just the way it is....so enjoy the wins if you can.
I don't think Jerry would know what to do if he got a high draft pick. I know for sure it wouldn't be no QB.
