Should we go after AP (A. Peterson)?

Since it apppears we are not building for the future, and want to win now, should we go after AD? Would a real threat at RB open up the game for Romo to take us to the next level?

I'm thinking if Minnesota is ready to cash in with him, Jerry should do whatever he can to get him.

Are their rumors that the Vikings are shopping Petersen or aren't willing to give him an extension?

Apart from the fact that what it was take to get him is just unrealistic, we just invested $100m in a QB to throw the football. We aren't going to bring in a prime time back.

If you're gonna start a thread say the players name not some initials that are wrong or a nickname

Id love to have him play for the Cowboys and he would be IMO a significant upgrade from Murray. However, this price would be far too high. I can only imagine what Dallas would have to give up to have him and how we would fit in his salary is beyond me.
Id damn sure put him on a Christmas wishlist right beside Calvin Johnson, but some things just arent in the cards.

What are you talking about? Its very well known among NFL fans that AD is Petersons nickname. Just as Id assume most would know who Megatron is.
Guess I could see how it is a bit confusing though.

I think Peterson is a great RB would love to have him but no way not at the price it would cost to get him. This notion Dallas is not building for the future? I see a lot of quality young players on this team right now and hope to add more as the Cowboys move forward.

The Cowboys don't run the ball enough for him to be effective here. He does make some great runs, but like all running backs, along with the long runs there are a plethora of -1, and +2 and +3 yard runs. If he gets enough carries, he'll break one or two for a long one, but so will Murray. The Cowboys just don't run the ball enough for those long runs to materialize.

Outside of the fact that he Cowboys are hurting more on DL, the Cowboys have no assets worth giving to to Minny short of draft picks. And I don't think they're going to give up premium picks for a running back.
