Should we go after Hakeem Nicks?

While Nicks is VERU intriguing, I would spend the resources on rushing the passer...the defensive scheme is predicated on getting pressure on the opponent's QB, and since we can't do that with our street signees, we have, statistically, the worst defense in our team's history....if they were healthy, this entire season would be different IMO....

We can pay him $100 a game. That's about how much we can afford.

With Miles departing next season, would you consider signing Hakeem Nicks for a relatively cheap contract? He is having one of the worst seasons in his career and hasn't even scored 1 single touchdown. Nicks is only 25 and a lot of people loved him coming out of college. I think there's still hope for him and the Giants don't seem to be interested in bringing him back. I think he can come in on a cheap contract because of his history with injuries and his lack of production.

And of course, he doesn't get the #88 :)

Between Austin, Lee, and Mo....................that hot tub is not big enough for Nicks to jump into too..................like others have said, we got enough china doll players on this team as it is.

Once Opie and Grandpa are fired for missing the playoffs, the Tampa 2 is going out the door with both of them as well.

We will still run the 43 defense, but the Tampa 2 is a dino at this point. LIke Nick Eatman said, it was a great defense back in the 90s, but not in today's NFL.

This would be another brain dead move by a brain dead GM. Even Stevie Wonder could see we need help on the DL,OL and S and not WR.

Do you happen to know how many TD's Nicks has this year??????

We can have Terrell Owens in his prime next to Dez... It wont matter. Spend money on the trenches please...not skill players. We have enough of those alresdy.

They can't game plan to get Dez the ball as it is. Nicks would be more underused talent.

We don't need to waste resources on a WR. Even a CJ type wouldn't improve this team as much as a decent DLine player.

Is this how our GM goes about picking out players?

Can he play safety ?

Anyone who thinks Nicks is a good option has simply not seen him play this year. I have seen EVERY NY Giants game this year. The guy is essentially worthless.
