Should we have taken an OT in the 3rd instead of McGovern?

They weren't going to give up on Connor Williams after one year. They are going to try to make a tackle out of him, eventually.

Chuma Edoga, Bobby Evans and Yodny Cajuste all went after we took Connor. I like McGovern but we have a ton of OG’s. Just throwing it out for discussion.
You do know the plan.....right?

Maybe not hence this thread.

We followed our board. That's not to say our board was right but if we are going BPA based on the board then we made the right decision.
Sure the next few years their will be multiple picks we could have drafted that will possibly be better but anyone who says we shoulda, coulda, after the draft are just delving into revisionist history and it is totally a waste of energy.

I think they made the right call.
Collins' deal is up after this year and the RT market is going to be inflated.
With Williams having experience at tackle, McGovern landing in their laps was too good to turn down. And if Williams is not a good fit at RT there is also the possibility that Martin could play there and be real good.
