The 1st round back is Jeanty and that's it. There is no other that they would draft in the 1st round.
Yeah, that's what people scream out every year. Too early to really know.

He's our RB1, and the earth knows he's "not a starter on any team in the nfl of the 31 other rosters!" With that said, if he continues to trend upwards throughout the season, and REMAIN healthy, could we give him a nice payday? Please give your thoughts
Yes, keep him and reward him. It is in keeping with Yoda's commitment to the status quo.

There is a good draft crop coming out. Jeanty is a first rounder. Many good second rounders imo. That and a veteran signing like James Conner, najee, javonte Williams, chubb, mattison, etc should make a good room. I wouldn't sign back dowdle unless it was a really good deal for us.
We need more than 1 RB, and we need to draft more positions than just RBs. I don't think I'd be too quick to pass on Dowdle. Granted Dowdle is not worth the big bucks, but if we can draft a good #1 RB and get a decent deal with Dowdle for #2, we better do it.

MODS!!!
Sorry but I discovered I accidentally posted the same post twice! Post # 65 and post #67. Don't know how I did it but feel free to get rid of one. Sorry

Definitely not, you know why he’s been surprisingly healthy and playing better? It is his contract year. Will be a FA next season. How ironic. Once he gets paid, we’ll see the old Rico.

No - if he’s with us next season great …… if not, great too.

Our RBs are so below average we talk about extending our best one after one 85 yard game. It’s not our fault, but it’s sad.
